I had an excellent experience at the Endoscopy Department today. I was very nervous before my colonoscopy and gastroscopy. The staff were kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire procedure. The nurses and doctors explained everything clearly and treated me with great care and respect. The department was clean, well-organized, and efficient. I truly appreciate the compassion and professionalism of the whole team. Thank you for the outstanding care!

I recently underwent surgery at the day care services unit and the care I received was out of this world. I was incredibly nervous beforehand, but the entire team immediately put me at ease.
A huge thank you to the nurses, the fantastic anaesthetic team, and Dr Etop Akpan. You were all truly amazing and made a stressful day so much easier!
I recently had surgery at Louth County Hospital in Dundalk, and I honestly couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the local staff were incredibly helpful and kind—you really get a sense that they care about their community. The service was quick and well-organized, which made the whole experience much less stressful. It’s a smaller hospital, but that actually worked in its favour—everything felt more personal and efficient. I felt well looked after throughout, and the professionalism of the team really stood out. Huge credit to everyone working there. Grateful for the care I received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
Nice and professional service, I had small lump removed from my inner arm. Aya, my surgeon was very patient and answered all my questions while operating. Zero pain.
Best hospital by far thay should increase there hours to 20/24 hours i would go here again in a heartbeat the staff and doctors are so nice and helpful ive anixtey and suffer really bad with ptsd from bad experiences at hospitals but here thay made me feel at ease and safe really hope the hse sees this and maybe start opening it longer 🤞🤞
Just phoned a few minutes ago to ask what time they’re open until as GP asked me to get an x-Ray mid sentence the lady asked “have you been injured” I said “no I have this pain though that needs an xray” she again interrupts me and repeats “have you been injured” I said I’m trying to explain she then slowly and extremely rudely again “have. You.been.injured” I just hung up so so SO RUDE!!!!
Horrible customer service. If you call them for something, they don't want to help you, they want just get rid of you. It its a shame, a town like dundalk, has an Hospital which it doesnt work. You always need go to drogheda and, be refered by your GP ,which it took us 8 years to get a Gp !!!! This is a shame.
I had a Colonoscopy today at Louth Co Hospital and I never met such friendly and caring staff, from I walked in the door to the time I left, I would give it 10 stars if I could. It's such a pity other hospitals couldn't take a leaf out of their book.
