We are incredibly grateful for Sabrina Martin, RN, from Bed 4, Building 4 East at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. During one of the hardest times for our family, she provided outstanding care, compassion, patience, and professionalism while taking care of our son.
Sabrina treated our baby with genuine love and kindness, and she always made us feel supported and respected as parents. She explained things clearly, checked on us often, and brought comfort during stressful moments. Her calm attitude and caring heart truly made a difference in our experience.
The dedication and compassion she shows every single day are beyond amazing. Nurses like Sabrina are the reason families feel hope even during difficult times. We will never forget the care she gave to our son and our family.
Thank you, Sabrina Martin, RN, for being one of the greatest nurses we have ever met. Bed 4 in Building 4 East is blessed to have you.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Amazing care and kindness!
The staff at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia are truly outstanding — from the doctors to the nurses and everyone in between. They are caring, professional, and always go the extra mile to make children and parents feel comfortable. The hospital is clean, well-organized, and full of positive energy. Truly one of the best children’s hospitals in the country. Highly recommended!
I had a very bad experience at CHOP Hospital. I brought my child in for emergency care after he ran into a table and started bleeding from his nose. Despite it being an emergency, we had to wait almost 4 hours before he was seen by a doctor. The staff did not seem urgent or responsive to the situation, which was very stressful as a parent. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hospital, especially in an emergency setting. I expected much better care and quicker attention for a child in distress.
My 4 month old daughter was transported to CHOP after having complications from RSV. The entire staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Our nurses Dana, Melanie and Brandy in 3 East seashore unit were amazing and so attentive -Always kept me updated and were quick to run into the room when her vitals were off. Also they were wonderful at helping soother her back to sleep after vitals were checked in the night.
The whole experience was overwhelming and terrifying but the staff here helped ease my mind. Thank you to these wonderful nurses and the ambulance team for all their help. Truly angels 🙏
This hospital is the worst hospital to have a child every day is something else wrong and can’t do if you’re pregnant pick a different hospital besides Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia cause they’ll lead you around and lead you around and lead you around yesterday I was allowed to bring a scooter today, I’m not not allowed passed through security for security guards, 4 security guards let me my Electric scooter inside, went to the cafeteria and ate, then went over to the south elevators and went through that one and asked all four of them was I good do you need to look at my wagon? Had my scooter in my wagon all four of them let me go in today they don’t. It’s like they pick and choose who they were all allowed in and who they won’t allow it and what stuff they can allow in and what stuff they don’t allow in maybe they should have a board up that says what is not allowed in the only thing that I saw that wasn’t allowed in or guns and knives nothing that says a scooter can’t go in. Nothing says that an electric bike can go in. Nothing says anything about electric scooters or bikes so maybe y’all might want to put that on the board saying that it can’t go in instead of just making up an excuse after an excuse after an excuse like I said if you’re pregnant, go to a different hospital don’t come here.
I am incredibly thankful for the world-class care our child received at CHOP. From the moment we arrived, the staff—from emergency to specialists—were not only highly competent but genuinely kind and compassionate. The Child Life specialists were invaluable, helping my child feel comfortable and safe during tests and procedures. The facilities are truly state-of-the-art, and it is clear that everyone, including the doctors and nursing team, goes above and beyond to support the entire family, not just the patient. Highly recommend this incredible institution!
I cannot put into words how grateful, thankful, and appreciative I am for the entire staff at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. My son was first admitted to our local hospital for five days. They truly did everything they could, but once we were transferred to CHOP, the difference was immediate and life-changing. In less than 24 hours, my son had a clear diagnosis and a treatment plan.
I wish I could thank every single person by name. I know this is your profession but there is a huge difference between doing a job and being exceptional at it while genuinely caring for the people you’re treating. At the previous hospital, my son had a very difficult time with IVs and blood draws. He was dehydrated, and every attempt required me and multiple nurses to hold him down. It was heartbreaking as a parent to watch.
At CHOP, we had the most amazing phlebotomists. They found a vein quickly, worked with such care and confidence, and drew his blood swiftly and gently with little to no help needed from me. The compassion, skill, and professionalism shown to my child meant everything.
I will forever feel indebted to the every team at CHOP that had a hand in my sons diagnosis and treatment . Thank you for not only being incredible at what you do, but for truly caring. You made an incredibly scary time so much easier for our family, and I will never forget that. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💙
This place puts UPMC and Penn State Health to shame !!!!!
Five stars are not nearly enough to express my gratitude to the nurses, doctors, and technologists who cared for my son during our recent hospital visit.
My son was a patient at Penn State Hershey for eight years—eight long years marked by rudeness, misdiagnoses, unnecessary medications and a lack of listening when parents advocated for more for their child.
From our very first visit to the urology clinic, I knew we were in a special place. Within just 15 minutes of meeting the physician, he confidently identified what was wrong with my son and provided an accurate diagnosis.
To confirm the findings, we returned to CHOP last week for what was expected to be an exploratory procedure. That visit ultimately led to surgery, followed by diagnostic testing to ensure the procedure was successful—and thankfully, it was.
The care we received at this hospital was compassionate, attentive, and truly exceptional. As someone who has worked in healthcare for 28 years, I can confidently say this is the best care I have ever witnessed.
Thank you to everyone who took part in my son’s care. We will be forever grateful.
