Security, registration, and triage nurses were very rude. Also waited 4.5 hours in the waiting room with a fracture. The specialist I saw was good and the er nurse was fantastic. Everyone else had pretty terrible service, pretty disappointed with the majority of the visit.

Left this review on the Temple Health Radiology page but figure in case anyone needs an MRI I'd leave it here as well: Was here yesterday for a cardiac MRI & would say it was PERFECT, but the CC machine was down (the lady in the booth taking the CC payments & raising the enter & exit bar manually deserves a raise!!!). Other than that, from check in receptionists to the MRI tech who was very patient with me falling asleep more than a couple times, my 1st impression here was a great one! While it is a 45 min drive for me I understand this type of imaging has to be done here & based on my 1st time, will happily return.

I wish I had the option for zero stars for the labor and delivery. I gave birth alone, I am in recovery and I have had a past of mental health, when I gave birth to my daughter there was a case worker who was EXTREMELY disrespectful and judgemental. She said stuff like "well we have to judge you" and I went there for my obgyn and they told me that they had car seats, so I didn't buy one, when I gave birth and asked about it the case worker looked at me and said "what are you talking about we don't give out car seats?" So I had to call someone to buy one for me. Anyways she threatened to call DHS and have my baby taken away because I have a history of mental health and I had already been in recovery before I even got pregnant. And they took my daughter to give her a bath, her ankle was extremely dry and cracking with a little blood, and her back and her arms where so dry and had red spots all over. They made me feel stupid for using a lot of wipes to change my daughter. The case worker got offended that I wanted to hear what the doctors where saying about my daughter and nobody can have 2 conversations with 2 different people at once. So I'm going to go through the paperwork and find her name because I'm still traumatized also I am still waiting on her birth certificate cause when I called to get it the lady was extremely rude and clearly hated her job. I hope that any one who decides to give birth to just go to Jefferson, everyone told me to go there and I didn't listen. 10/10 would never recommend for anyone to give birth here.

I arrived at Temple Hospital’s ER at 6 PM with chest pain and tightness. It is now after midnight, and I still have not been seen by a doctor. In more than six hours, my vitals were only taken twice, and I only received one EKG the entire time. When I told staff that my chest felt tighter and my symptoms were getting worse, no one reassessed me or elevated my care, even though chest pain should never be ignored. I repeatedly asked for updates, and every time I was told they didn’t know how long the wait would be. I was also told an entire area of the hospital was closed, which made the wait even longer. Despite sitting here with chest pain, I was not offered any medication, reassurance, or basic follow‑up care. The lack of communication and attention feels extremely unprofessional. I’m scared to leave because I don’t want my condition to get worse on the way to another hospital, but staying here has been just as stressful. Patients deserve timely updates and to feel like their health matters. Tonight, that did not happen. This worst service i have seen in public setting .

My grandfather has advanced cancer and I will say 50% of the staff were friendly, personable, and made my grandfather feel cared for. That remaining 50% of nurses, nurse managers and hospital staff were rude, uneducated, nonchalant, and treated my grandfather like he was incompetent. When he had an emergency seizure, the hospital never called his family to inform us. We had to find out directly through my traumatized grandfather the next day. One of the biggest con of this hospital is that during his blood transfusion, they gave my grandfather the WRONG BLOOD. I am currently reporting and for that, I will be giving a 1 star because although the his doctor and some of the nurses were great, the protocol and treatment when we left the room was unacceptable. If you can’t trust the staff to take care of your loved ones when you leave, then whats the point? After that incident, we transferred him to Jefferson.

I’m currently sitting here now in the ER , I simply asked one of the male nurses for an update because my sickness started to feel worst . He responded “there’s ppl sitting here 3 to 5 hrs go sit down “ I don’t think that’s professional to say to someone who is sick and coming to the hospital for help . I understand they probably get a lot of homeless people or people on drugs but that’s absolutely not how you respond to a patient , I’m not sure his name but he was the first room when walking in . Very disrespectful very condescending very much unprofessional and quite frankly I think he’s needs to be retrained on how to speak to a patient .

I am originally pregnant right about now. I am going in the labor around May 17. That’s only Saturday I was seeing if I could see a doctor a little bit earlier before May 17 but y’all got me in August 17 so everything is a OK fine but anyway I am pregnant so yeah I will see you when I get there all right bye

Do not go! If I could leave a zero star, I would. I came in on a Saturday with symptoms of a bowel blockage and the only care I received was a nap with how long they took to see me, they took a verbal history (where I said I hadn't pooped for a week, hadn't eaten 3 days and have been vomiting anything since, along with no OTC laxatives working), they palpatated my stomach, then gave me an enema & colonoscopy prep to do at home. The next morning after no results besides more vomiting & weakness, I went to Penn Medicine. They did bloodwork, a manual rectal check, and a CT scan. They found a bowel obstruction and I had to go in for emergency surgery that day. There is no reason why Temple missed this except simple laziness and incompetence. If you value your health, avoid this place at all cost.
