I recently underwent a tonsillectomy at The Priory Hospital under the care of Dr Kuo, and I could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish.
Every member of staff I encountered was professional, kind, and genuinely caring. The check-in team made the admission process smooth and welcoming, the theatre staff were incredibly reassuring, and the nursing team provided exceptional care throughout my stay. The porters were friendly and helpful, and even the catering staff went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable.
The hospital itself was spotless, well-maintained, and created a calm, reassuring environment. It is clear that patient care is at the heart of everything they do.
A special thank you to Dr Kuo for his expertise, professionalism, and excellent care. The entire experience exceeded my expectations, and I felt supported every step of the way.
I would not hesitate to recommend The Priory Hospital to anyone considering treatment. Thank you to everyone involved for making what could have been a daunting experience such a positive one.

Have been (unfortunately) a regular visitor of the Priory Edgbaston for a few years now.
The place is spotlessly clean and the configuration of the buildings, a mix of old and new, is quite user-friendly which is a refreshing change.
There is ample car parking although it is spread around the large site which does have pros and cons. Once you are used to it it is perfectly fine.
Most of the staff deliver high levels of care and unsurprisingly the medical facilities are first rate.
It is always easy to speak with someone on the main reception, which again makes a refreshing change.
Hopefully despite all the positive things to say about the Priory, I won't be visiting so often in the future.
Whilst the surgery and recovery care was amazing, the care on Dudley ward left a lot to be desired. I was not informed that I had received a steroid injection which then caused many diabetic complications with my blood glucose control. I could have managed this better if I had been informed that I was being given a steroid prior to my GA. I went to theatre without TEDs stockings despite my asking and was told by the nurse that I didn’t need them. I then witnessed the recovery nurse inform the ward nurse I should have had them. I still never got them. I was by ward staff at 17.00 that someone would help me get a wash and changed into clean clothes following my surgery. Nobody came and I sat in a dirty gown with no wash until they left the hospital the next day. I had no visitor with me to help me do this. The night shift nurses were simply unkind. I felt not listened to regarding my pain relief needs, vulnerable regarding my diabetes needs and made to feel a nuisance even though I only pressed my bell twice in the night. I felt really sad seeing this type of nursing having myself worked in the NHS for 25 years. I couldn’t wait to get home because of the overnight care on Dudley ward. Really sad to leave this feedback having had many operations at the Priory hospital Birmingham but the overnight nursing care on Dudley ward must be improved.
I had an great experience at The Priory. My consultant was very professional and calming. The admin staff were attentive and organised. The nursing and theatre team were all very professional and explained everything well. The hospital is very clean, the catering is top notch and the facilities and modern and convenient. I would recommend for ENT.
Today we went for a Pre Op Assessment and was greeted by Receptionist Dawn who was so lovely, happy and kind and put our minds at rest straight away.
We sat for a few minutes in the waiting room which was beautiful with Edwardian features.
The Nurse was Netty and she was very lovely and professional and very expert at taking a blood test as my husband has always struggled with having multiple needles trying to extract blood so he was very please.
A very relaxing and professional atmosphere.
I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Chaudhary. She was incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and took the time to listen to my concerns and put me at ease without making me feel rushed.
She genuinely cared about providing the best possible care. Her professionalism, expertise, and kindness made a real difference to my experience.
Jacky, the nurse who assisted during my appointment was absolutely lovely, and welcoming, I left the appointment feeling reassured and well looked after. I would highly recommend Dr Chaudhary to anyone looking for an excellent doctor
This review is for the Pre-Op assessment team.
From the moment I came into the building for my pre-op assessment I felt welcomed and in good hands.
Dawn on reception was delightful and offered to make coffee for us and was really welcoming.
The physiotherapist Tom was helpful and provided me with very useful information.
The nursing staff Surita and Debbie were very profession and friendly at the same time.
Both took the time to put me at my ease and explained what they required and why.
A brilliant experience all round.
Oh one other point to make is that my procedure is being done on the NHS but I did not feel at any time that I was being treated any differently to a private patient.
I would highly recommend the team.

Kully was always compassionate, professional and incredibly supportive, taking the time to listen, provide guidance and ensure that any concerns or questions I had were dealt with promptly. Her kindness and dedication made a significant difference and I always felt genuinely cared for.
I would also like to thank Dr Anindya Lahiri for the excellent treatment and care he provided. He is an exceptional hand surgeon whose expertise, professionalism and reassuring manner inspired confidence from the outset. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions and ensured I felt comfortable and informed throughout. His skill and patient-centred approach are truly outstanding.
The level of care, communication and support I received from both Kully and Dr Lahiri was exceptional. They are a credit to The Priory Hospital and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.
