Bishopswood Hospital was well signposted.
Today was my first appointment and i got there an hour early as I wasn't sure what the buses were going to be like. I was met with a smile, reassurance, politeness, courtesy and respect (by the receptionists). There was complimentary tea, coffee and chocolate. The chocolate was delicious. There was a delay with the Consultant but she was apologetic. She was professional with empathy, compassion, understanding, sensitivity, reassurance, diagnosis, advice and recommendations.
I left feel a lot calmer than going in, as I was anxious.
Thankyou to the team that work in the background to make this successful.
I recently visited Bishopsgate Hospital as an outpatient for cancer analysis and my first chemotherapy session. My Oncologist gave me confidence and was attentive and knowledgeable. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout. Everything ran smoothly and promptly, which made a stressful time much easier. The food was excellent, and I really appreciated the catering manager personally checking in to make sure I was happy. Overall, a really positive experience.
I recently underwent a procedure at Bishops Wood Hospital and honestly couldn’t be more pleased with the care I received. From the initial consultation with Mr Aly right through to the surgery and recovery, every staff member was professional, caring and supportive.
The surgeon and medical team took the time to explain the procedure to both myself and my wife, putting us both at ease with the procedure. All the nursing staff were attentive, kind and respectful throughout the stay. Everywhere we went within the hospital, we were met with a warm welcome, friendly smiles, reassurances and encouragement. We are extremely thankful and grateful for the support and treatment received. Five-star experience at Bishopswood hospital . My surgeon, Mr Vedi, was excellent, and the nursing staff were absolutely wonderful during my recovery. The facility was clean, and the care was top-notch. Thank you to everyone involved in my surgery and aftercare!
I had to have an MRI scan today. The last time I went for one I couldn't go into the tunnel. This time with the kindness Josephine, Jas and Alka, I managed to do the whole test. Despite the excessive heat, it was very hot day, the experience was so much better than I imagined. Thank you so much.

Care has been excellent from my first appointment all the way through to my discharge yesterday after surgery on Monday.
All the staff involved in my care (surgeon, theatre team, nursing team and physios) were skilled, friendly and explained things very clearly as everything was going on. The care was very personal and nothing was too much trouble.
For those who worry about hospital food, the food was excellent with a lot of choices and brought up by extremely friendly staff.
I feel very fortunate to have been able to have my operation carried out at Bishopswood.
I recently attended an MRI scan for my shoulder at Bishops Wood Hospital. The location was very easy to find, with ample parking available. I arrived early to allow sufficient time and was seen well before my scheduled appointment.
Josephine and Soloman immediately put me at ease and clearly explained what to expect during the procedure. They were both highly professional and competent healthcare professionals.
