In short, its a hospital that makes you understand why people choose private over NHS. Quite and good. Great medicinal team. Great service. Hygiene is great. Staff are professional and friendly.. Definitely not cheap but recommend..

I recently underwent ACL reconstruction at Lister Hospital and felt compelled to share my extremely positive experience. From the very beginning, the care I received was exceptional. My surgeon, Mr Simon Thompson, was absolutely outstanding. He was professional, caring, and incredibly reassuring throughout the entire process. His expertise and calm manner immediately gave me confidence that I was in the very best hands. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to his secretary, Clair, who was wonderful from the moment I booked my appointment. She kindly called me twice beforehand, ensuring I had all the information I needed, carefully explaining what to expect on the day, and answering my questions. Her thoughtfulness truly helped put my mind at ease. My anaesthetist, Emma, was equally fantastic. As this was my first surgery, I was understandably nervous, but her warm and friendly approach immediately reassured me. She took the time to listen and made me feel completely comfortable and safe, which I greatly appreciated. The nursing care was exemplary. Gabby and Elizabeth were attentive, kind, and consistently checked on me to ensure I was comfortable. Anisia, the physiotherapist, was incredibly helpful and patient. She clearly explained everything I needed to know for my recovery, carefully taught me how to use crutches (including navigating stairs), and made sure I fully understood before I left. I also met Roshene, the duty nurse, who introduced herself and provided thorough aftercare advice in such a friendly and professional manner. The hospital itself truly deserves five stars. My room was immaculate, spacious, and had a beautiful view. The overall environment was clean, calm, and welcoming. I genuinely felt so well cared for — almost like royalty. What I had anticipated to be a daunting experience turned out to be calm, organised, and genuinely pleasant. I cannot fault a single part of my day. My heartfelt thanks go to the entire team for making what could have been a stressful occasion into such a positive one. I am incredibly grateful and would highly recommend The Lister Hospital to anyone requiring surgery. It’s top class!

I had an excellent experience during my consultation for hip arthritis. The whole team were friendly, efficient, and reassuring. The X‑ray staff were kind and made me feel very comfortable. Professor Richard Field was outstanding — clear in his explanations, approachable, and genuinely caring. I left feeling confident and well looked after. Highly recommended.

Lister hospital is really good. The service was top notch. Staff are great, welcoming with a smile on their face at reception. The nurses and doctors were also super kind. The nurses made sure every small details were checked twice. I feel like i have been very well looked after. I had 2 procedures under GA and honestly everyone was so nice. The room was clean with a nice view of the bridge. Excellent choice of food. felt safe and in good hands. Thanks to everyone at Lister Hospital Chelsea

Dr David Game is a wonderful doctor, very knowledgeable, professional and empathetic at the same time. He took my problem seriously and listened to my concerns. Hospital reception staff very welcoming and friendly. Cleans and pleasant surroundings. Highly recommended

Top consultants, doctors, nurses and staff all come together at the Lister to provide patients with the best possible care. I have been a very happy patient here and feel lucky to be treated with great courtesy, professional competence and good humour and compassion.

I underwent a laparoscopic surgery at the hospital 1.5weeks ago and received outstanding care from the team. Day and night the team of nurses showed uninterrupted attention, answered my numerous questions and made sure I was well equipped for the discharge. Thanks for making such a difficult period going so smooth. Also, the food served was great (raspberry crème brûlée is my favourite)

Excellent all round. Saw consultant, plan agreed, cancellation slot the following week, up and mobile within 2h post op. Staff were friendly, helpful and responsive to needs. Food was great, very clean room. I’d come back again, but for all the right reason hope not to!
