I can't recommend Dr Kash Akhtar highly enough. From consultation to my meniscectomy, the care I received was second to none.
An exceptional surgeon with outstanding surgical skill and expertise. Dr Kash took the time to explain the procedure in detail, answered all my questions patiently, and made me feel confident throughout. I only wish I'd gone to see them sooner.

Dr Akhtar has an exceptional ability to explain everything clearly and simply, removing any uncertainty or anxiety from what can be a daunting process. His knowledge, approachability and genuine care for his patients immediately inspire confidence.
What impressed me most was that this level of care extended far beyond the surgery itself. The pre-operative guidance was straightforward and easy to follow, and the post-operative instructions were equally clear, making recovery feel incredibly manageable.
As for the surgery, my meniscus procedure could not have gone more smoothly. I experienced almost immediate relief afterwards, and the entire process exceeded my expectations. Despite the seriousness of knee surgery, Dr Akhtar made the whole experience feel surprisingly stress-free.
It's a strange thing to say about surgery, but if I had to describe my entire experience in one word, it would be "simple." I also need to mention the Cleveland Clinic facility and staff. The entire experience was almost surreal, in the best possible way. The facility is outstanding, and every member of staff I encountered was friendly, attentive and genuinely caring. There was a calm, welcoming atmosphere throughout that felt more like a high-end wellness retreat than a hospital. It's difficult to imagine a better patient experience.
I had an excellent experience with Dr Kash. He was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to listen to my concerns. I’ve been dealing with knee issues for decades, and for the first time I felt like I really understood what was going on.
He carefully walked me through both my MRI and X-ray images and explained everything in a way that was clear and easy to understand.
He was also very proactive and on top of everything, including recommending a great physical therapist to help with next steps in my treatment.
I left feeling informed, validated, and much more confident about my treatment options. I would highly recommend him to anyone dealing with chronic knee problems.

I only found out about Dr Kask Akhtar when I had a L/ Knee injury early this year.( I have already had a similar injury on the same Knee back in 2018 and had an operation by another knee surgeon, in another Clinic). Following my first consultation with Dr Kash Akhtar ,I didn't hesitate to follow his recommendation and went in for surgery. From the beginning to the end the service/ recovery was absolutely second to none and my knee is better now than what it was following the same surgery back in 2018(by another Doctor)!
