Dr. Gruen is excellent! Appointments move pretty quickly and there can be a wait (but if you go early in the day, this isn’t a problem). But she’s worth the wait! She is knowledgeable, kind, and has a great bedside manner.

I had a great experience with Dr. Surani and their staff. They were professional, kind, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I felt comfortable and well cared for. Highly recommend! They also have a very cute place looks like I’m inside a sauna which is relaxing hehe

The waiting room was small and crowded. I had to wait 45 minutes after appointment time to see the physician, much of that standing up. But nice people and good practice.

We had to wait a bit but once we saw Dr. Gruen we were so happy. She made my daughter very comfortable, explained clearly all the medications and answered all her questions. She and her assistant were very thorough and super nice! So happy we found her!

Regrettably I have to leave a bad review, which I have never done before. Although my dermatologist herself is really lovely, the billings team provided a terrible service and I was charged $140 on two separate occasions, when they had specifically told me these visits would be free of charge. Had I been given the correct information, I would have gone elsewhere. It’s such a shame and I hope nobody else has to deal with this experience. (I also have to wait at least half an hour to be seen each time, so recommend allowing lots of time for your visit.)

Drs are great! However communication with providers as well as general communication sorely lacking.waiting a few months for an itemized bill?ridiculous, Au calling in an incorrect prescription- bordering on negligence!! Office staff unhelpful. Online chat unhelpful!!!

The doctor himself was fine. Everything else rather sucked. Scheduling an appointment was a dystopian mess. I could not schedule on a website. Was forced to call and use an AI bot that was slow and worked poorly. I was forced to fill out the same forms three times including photos of my ID (which was never checked in person) and my insurance card. The doc was fine (4.5 stars) but the office was terrible.

Avoid this place. I visited in May 2022 and paid my $50 copay at the time. Now, in March 2026 (more than 3 years!), I’ve received a debt collection notice. I never received an email or any mailed statement directly from Dermatology Specialists about an outstanding balance. When I logged into their portal, I saw a statement dated September 2025. The math is pretty clear even on the statement that they have on filed. See attached picture.
