Okay, so, toddler mom here(Irish twins) I'm providing an unbiased review since I found the establishment via google... I was so surprised with this place overall.. First impression walk in: it's gorgeous, clean, and they seem to have such fancy equipment.
We did just go in to get a regular check up accompanied by a bunch of dumb questions, because you know... mom anxiety. Everything's great, Thank God!
I'm ashamed I cant remember our front desk associate's name, nor the nurse's (who were both so sweet and went out of their way to assist in our family chaos haha...) hey girls, thanks for the stickers/ extra hands/ dress compliments! 💕
Now on to Crystal Fermano. This woman has an obvious gift with children, and won our trust right away. She never rushed us, was thourough in her exams, provided ample time for my mom brain to catch up (and remember) any questions or concerns... and even threw in some samples for us so we can find the best products for this upcoming summer. She was so helpful and interactive with my kids. They were able to communicate with Crystal even though they speak english sparingly as a second language. Thank you so much for settling my worries, and walking us out hand in hand today! (literally)🧿
This is now both of my daughters' favorite office to visit, which I was not expecting at all. (Since they both think they are doctors at home but hate going to the actual doctor. Haha)
Overall, we're happy we booked the appointments.
I will say I've seen some negative reviews concerning the appointments: I did CALL IN and speak to someone to make the appointments initially. All of my questions regarding insurance, self pay, differences between physicians available, etc. were all answered, and again, not rushed. I did not run into any issues personally, everything went smoothly.

This was my first time visiting a dermatologist. From setting the appointment, to check in, to my exam, my experience was seamless. I was able to get an appointment in two days. I was checked in and brought into the office in no time at all(exceptionally fast especially being a first appointment). I met with Crystal Fermano who is a PA there. She was friendly, thorough, and very informative. Most important to me, she listened to my concerns and put them at ease by describing what they were and letting me know they are of no concern. Ultimately, I highly recommend this facility especially Crystal , and I look forward to my appointment next year.
So I arrive late about 10 mins they tell me to sit and wait to see if the doctor will see, mind you his office is empty and they have a 15 mins policy but I’m only 10 mins late. They ask me to sit and wait and see, about 10 to 12 mins later the doctor said he won’t see me to reschedule. I left work early and was stuck in traffic and while I was driving there informed them about my situation and I really needed to see the doctor and explain all of this he didn’t care, it’s all about the numbers here no humane approach thank you
I’m really happy with my visit to Schweiger Dermatology Group. Matthew Hislop made me feel comfortable right away and was very thorough when addressing my concerns, second time coming back to him. The whole team was kind and welcoming as always and the appointment went smoothly from start to finish. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Dr Gabros was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She didn’t rush the appointment and answered all my questions. Her staff took excellent notes which I received when I checked out.
Dr. Gabros is wonderful, she instantly puts me at ease. she is smart, knowledgeable and kind. I trust her completely to take care of my skin and my health.
Today my husband, daughter, and I visited Dr. Matthew Hislop, and we had a truly wonderful experience. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He took the time to listen carefully to our concerns and explained everything in a clear and reassuring way. His patience, kindness, and calm approach made us feel comfortable and confident in his care. He is truly an asset to the clinic. We are very grateful and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent dermatologist.
Very good, attentive Dr. and nursing staff, very satisfied. However, extremely disappointing aggravating arrangement of the telephone connection - inability to speak directly to the office you are visiting is really super upsetting, especially in case of emergencies. I was driving to the office in Englewood Cliffs and was delayed by traffic accident. I waited and waited to be connected to a live customer representative after speaking with electronic assistant: after that I had to explain to customer representative of the Schweiger Dermatology, Inc - not the office I was going to, so after not less than 20 minutes and my blood pressure going up I was connected to the Reception of the office I was going to. Terrible service!
The office staff is very good. Jane, who helped me deserves high praise for her efficient, friendly, excellent skills But lack of direct contact with the office makes experience uncomfortable and unpleasant!
