I had an appointment at the NextCare Urgent Care located at 4730 E. Indian School Rd. in Phoenix. Before scheduling, I clearly explained the reason for my visit. After waiting to see the doctor, I was told that if the staff had reviewed the reason for my appointment beforehand, they would have informed me there was nothing they could do to help.
Despite providing no treatment or medical service, I was still charged $335. I requested a refund because I don't believe it's reasonable to charge a patient when the clinic knew, or should have known, that it could not provide the requested care.
To their credit, a manager did attempt to call me after my complaint. Unfortunately, I missed the call. I returned the call several times and left messages, but I never received a return call. I was disappointed that the follow-up ended there, especially since I was trying to resolve the issue.
Overall, the experience left me feeling angry and frustrated. Better communication before scheduling the appointment and better follow-through afterward could have prevented this situation.
The provider was kind and she treated me like a real person that has a brain! Recently I had to switch providers from internal medicine to village medical and each time I have been scheduled with different providers who talked down to me and literally made me feel uncomfortable about the care I had received. Meeting with the new provider at Next Care helped me feel better about my health and confident that I need to find a new provider with care and compassion. Your provider and staff were excellent and I will continue to use your services when necessary. FYI I founded Arizona Radiology and my number one priority was Making sure the patient Received excellent customer service care and compassion on top of excellent medical services! This is the first time I have ever given a medical professional plus their staff this good of a review! Pls make sure to take care of them because this kind of quality in today’s environment is very difficult to find!
It was super easy to get serviced with make payment with my insurance. The doctor who helped me was thorough and made it easy to understand him. They sent my medication to Cosco and everything was super easy and fast. Loved it especially cuz I just had a simple lingering cough and I just needed medication to help stop it so it was fast and easy and nothing was over complicated
My experience was amazing. The woman at the front desk was kind, efficient, and helpful. . There was a short wait time. The doctor I had was also kind, knowledgeable, and had a great bedside manner. It was an excellent experience.
Staff from start to finish was excellent. My daughter was comfortable with the nurse and the doctor was above and beyond. Never been happier with an experience with urgent care . Thank you . My kiddo is feeling better .
I had a really positive experience at Indian School Urgent Care today. After a 7-day failed course of antibiotics, I was seen via telehealth this morning and advised to come in for an in-person visit.
I made a 12 PM appointment and arrived 5 minutes early. While I did end up waiting about 60 minutes (with only two patients ahead of me), the quality of care I received more than made up for the delay.
The PA truly took the time to listen to all of my concerns. She tested me for strep (which came back negative), performed an additional throat culture, and prescribed a stronger antibiotic. What stood out most was her attention to detail—she even noticed my congested ears without me mentioning it and validated my symptoms, including a red, swollen throat and enlarged lymph nodes.
This was my 4th doctor visit in one week, and this was the first time I felt genuinely heard and taken seriously. I highly recommend this urgent care, especially if you’ve previously felt dismissed or overlooked elsewhere.
I cut my finger pretty bad, went online made my appt for 15mins later. My urgent care is not far from me at all. I saw the doctor, he was great! He had me soak my finger in an antibiotic solution so it would stop bleeding. Then he said I could either get 1 or 2 stitches, or he could glue it or put butterfly stitches on it. He explained the difference between how the glue would probably work better than the butterfly sutures. So I opted for the glue, which I’ve never seen before. He put three layers of glue, let it dry in between. Gave me the instructions on how to care for it, and it’s held beautifully. A little throbbing, which is expected. I’ve been to different urgent care and I think this one is the best that I’ve ever been to. I’ve been here several times and always been well taken care of. It was a good experience, seeing that I thought I was bleeding to death lol.
I didn’t have to wait and was seen quickly after I arrived on a Monday early afternoon. Everyone was very nice and explained the situation and good that I came in after 3days having the infection. My 2nd visit!
