I had an erbium laser treatment with Amanda, a Licensed Aesthetician at Basu Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery. From the consultation to the treatment itself, Amanda explained everything clearly, including what to expect and how to prepare, which immediately made me feel comfortable and confident in her expertise.
During the treatment, she talked me through each step and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Afterward, she gave me clear aftercare instructions and was available if I had questions. Amanda is knowledgeable, caring, and honest in setting realistic expectations.
I also had a wonderful experience with Denae, Master Nurse Injector, for Botox treatments during separate visits. She was so knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable, informed, and well taken care of during every visit.
I’m extremely happy I chose Amanda for my laser resurfacing journey and Denae for Botox, and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering either of those treatment.
Dr. Basu and his entire staff are simply incredible. I visited him for a breast implant exchange and he was informative, understanding and listened to all my concerns to determine best sizing. Surgery day was easy and Dr. Basu and staff were so kind! Recovery was easy because I followed all of their instructions and they made themselves available whenever I had questions.
I’ve now been seeing the nursing staff for other needs like weight loss and they’ve been really great. Susan, my nurse, takes time to explain everything, answer questions and she is incredibly encouraging. If you’ve been curious about Basu Aesthetics and how they can improve your life - go and visit them!! They are amazing.
Amanda performs all procedures very professionally. She excels at selecting the perfect approach for every skin type. I highly recommend her as a true professional — she is communicative, attentive, and highly responsible.
I had microneedling and Erbium laser treatments, and I am very pleased with the results. The work was excellent! I highly recommend it. Highly recommend her!!!!!
I had my breast augmentation with Dr. Shannon Kuruvilla and could not be happier with my experience. From the very first consultation, she truly listened to my goals and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. Her and the nurses have the best bedside manner. They were so thorough during the pre-op appointment, so I left with no questions or concerns. She is the sweetest human and made me feel completely comfortable and at ease.
I went into surgery feeling calm and confident because she addressed all of my concerns and really eased my nerves. Her knowledge and professionalism are so evident, and I felt like I was in the best hands the entire time.
My recovery was smooth and much easier than I expected, and I am beyond happy with my results.
I would absolutely recommend Dr. Kuruvilla and the Basu staff to anyone considering breast augmentation!
I have had several procedures done here and omg it’s been such a wonderful experience. The staffs here? AMAZING! I got my laser hair removal, hydrafacial and micro needling with IMAN and she was awesome!!! She went above and beyond for my care and even called and texted me to check in and make sure I am healing properly and not having bad reactions to my facial. She has been a tremendous help to my skin health overall. I love her.
I also got my breast reduction and lift surgery and DR SHANNON KURUVILLA was and is amazing! I’m in love with my results and they were v intentional with my post surgery care. Again, the entire staff is amazing!! including the wonderful nurses (Mindy is awesome) and the front desk!!
Overall I highly recommend Basu Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery and I’m so glad I found them. They’ve been great for my 2025 body self-love and self-care journey and goals.
I would like to share my experience so that others can make an informed decision before undergoing any procedures.
I had a neck lift and lower face lift performed by Dr. Basu Ellis, and unfortunately, I am extremely dissatisfied with the results. The outcome was far below my expectations, and I will now need to undergo corrective procedures, resulting in significant additional expenses.
In addition, I requested a small amount of fat transfer to my hands. Instead, I ended up receiving a laser treatment that caused burns and left my hands with visible scarring. Patients invest their hard-earned money to improve their appearance and well-being, not to be left with complications and permanent concerns.
I made several attempts to contact the office to discuss my results and explain why I was unhappy. However, I was not given the opportunity to properly address my concerns. I was informed that if I wanted to see the doctor again, I would have to pay for another consultation. In my opinion, a physician should be willing to listen to patients and help address any issues that arise after a procedure.
My experience has been very disappointing. I felt that once payment was received, my concerns were no longer a priority. To make matters worse, I was eventually blocked from their social media account after expressing my dissatisfaction.
I strongly encourage anyone considering treatment to thoroughly research their surgeon, ask detailed questions, and carefully evaluate their options before entrusting someone with their health and appearance.
Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this practice.

I cannot say enough incredible things about Basu and how different the experience is compared to other plastic surgery centers and med spas. From the moment you walk in, you can feel that this team operates at an entirely higher standard.

Dr. Kuruvilla has performed two surgeries for me, and both were booked within moments of speaking with her, thanks to the immediate trust and peace she gave me. She takes the time to understand what is best for your body, truly, and that level of care and honesty is rare.
Each surgery and every post-op experience has been seamless and, honestly, as delightful as something like that can be—which is a direct reflection of the entire team. Lea and Kim at the front desk are always welcoming and accommodating, Nurse Susan is exceptional, and the aestheticians I’ve worked with—Ana, Iman, and Amanda—are all incredibly skilled and attentive.
I’ve since moved all of my med spa services here—Botox, filler, facials, hormone therapy—because everything is handled so seamlessly. They are especially understanding and flexible with scheduling, which makes a huge difference when you have a demanding job. You are never made to feel like an inconvenience; instead, they are patient and work with you every time.
What truly sets Basu apart is their integrity. There is absolutely no pressure to purchase services or products you don’t need. They are honest in their recommendations, provide clear pricing, and let you make your own decisions—something that is incredibly refreshing in this industry.
Honestly, once you have one service or procedure here, you’ll want to move everything to their facility. The level of respect, professionalism, kindness, and honesty they provide is unmatched.
