I had such a wonderful experience at Sonterra Dermatology with Dr. Jorge Hinojosa. He was kind, attentive and took the time to really listen to my concerns and explain everything in a way that made me feel comfortable and cared for.

Erica Ramos is great! Down to earth and easy to talk to. Her assistant Katie was super sweet and very helpful! I overheard the front staff helping out others work out issues with their insurance in a very kind manner. They’re all great people! I was in and out in under an hour! Excellent service!
This is the third time I have seen Dr. Jorge Hinojosa, but my experience this time was not the best. I waited 40 minutes to be seen. He spent only about five minutes with me; he listened briefly to what I said and told his assistant which medications to use, without telling me what he was prescribing. I get the impression that Dr. Hinojosa is very busy and has little time for patient care. At my previous appointment, he said he would remove a white spot near my eye this time, but today he told me the same thing again—that he would do it at the next appointment. The assistant simply wrote down what I told her, without any interaction with me. When I asked for an explanation regarding the medications, she told me the pharmacy would provide the information. However, before leaving, I asked another young woman to please write down the names of the medications for me so I would know what they were. I checked the medications and saw they are steroids; I would have liked to explore other options. I will look for other medical care options.
Would highly recommend. Doctor Jorge Hinojosa was great. Informative, friendly and made my 1 year old feel safe and comfortable. I will continue to come here.
Dr. Ramos is an exceptional doctor who truly goes above and beyond for her patients. I’ve been seeing her for a persistent skin condition, and what sets her apart is her unwavering, solution-oriented approach. She never gives up.
If one treatment doesn’t produce the results we’re hoping for, she doesn’t just shrug her shoulders, she goes back to the drawing board, researches alternatives, and comes up with a new plan of action. That kind of dedication is rare and means the world to a patient who has struggled to find answers.
I always leave her office feeling heard, supported, and confident that we’re moving in the right direction. If you’re looking for a dermatologist who is knowledgeable, persistent, and genuinely invested in your well-being, look no further than Dr. Ramos. Highly recommend!
Had a very positive experience here today. Dr. Hinojosa and his staff were professional and friendly, and I was out much sooner than I expected. Highly recommend!
Staff at the Broadway office were excellent! My only problems are trying to make contact with someone in the main office or receiving a call back after leaving a message whether text or voice.I had even come into the Sonterra office at one point just to get an answer to a question I had! Also it took from 2/3/2026 when I saw Erica til today 4/24/2026 to get this procedure done today!
I don’t think I can continue being a patient of Sonterra Dermatology since there is a lack of communication with the patient!
