Saw Dr. Randall Porter today in Barrow Brain and Spine Suite 200. Top neurosurgeon in his field, very knowledgeable, direct and to the point doesn't waste any time. All the Medical Staff were nice and facilty was clean and well taken care of.

After a long journey of seeing several doctors, I finally found someone who truly listened. Dr. Jay Patel was kind, compassionate, and took the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed. He was thorough, genuine, and able to diagnose my condition without putting me through additional unnecessary testing. For the first time, I left an appointment feeling heard and hopeful. He started me on a medication plan, and I am now beginning a four-week treatment to see if it resolves my ptosis. I greatly appreciate his knowledge, professionalism, and patient-centered approach. It was refreshing to meet a physician who combines expertise with genuine care for his patients. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a neuro-ophthalmologist who takes the time to listen and provide thoughtful, effective care.

I’m sure Dr S is very knowledgeable and connected in his field. We are appreciative of his knowledge and willingness to assist with other programs. I feel the Dementia patient needs that xtra warmth and one on one attention as we have received from our previous staff interactions. Sometimes it is important to speak directly to the patient and forget the computer for a few minutes and learn how they feel or need. A very business like interaction rather than understanding relationships. Again, we appreciate the top notch care we have received from Barrows consistently the last 3 years.

My dad is coming here for IVIGs for dementia and everyone here is extremely kind. He has to stay here for you hours and they have a little private section for him where he could lay down and get his IVs. They help him rest with medicine and turn the lights down for him. Now that's in the neurological department. But overall they've done a nice job remodeling and it's always clean. Plus they have valet parking.

What a wonderful Doctor Jategaonkar is. Very refreshing to have a direct, compassionate, and old school surgeon. Very knowledgeable and confident in his ability and although I haven't needed surgery yet, his consultations have been excellent. He spends time to actually explain everything that's going on with your health and he makes you feel like he more like a partner going through surgery with you rather than just your surgeon. I can't recommend him highly enough!

so far this has been a very sad experience. I have jumped through so many hoops it is not funny. to begin with their front office attitude is terrible, and I have spoken to a few different people. I am looking for help with a surgery that either didn't go well or something new has happened. it feels like this place is so good they don't need to see some people. I am now seeking their second opinion. Again they are making this time critical matter take a very slow process. if you are in need I would look elsewhere. I decided to try again. I dropped my MRI DISC off at the 200 suite and told them I needed it back quickly. I received a call from Candy. She was nice. I explained why I needed my disc back quickly. She said she would stop by the next day and upload it. A WEEK went by so I called her back. She informed me that the doctors want to keep the disc. I explained we had that conversation a week before. She then said would you like me to refund your money. Wow! I agreed to the refund. I don’t care how good you think your company is. Treat people with respect and maybe just try to be helpful instead of arrogant. NO MATTER HOW BACK I AM I WILL NEVER GO TO OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Candy needs retraining

Dr. Ashby is a kind dedicated professional who doesn’t sugarcoat things but does it in a way that is not hurtful. She is honest and very sincere rare qualities in the many doctors I have seen. She did not rush the appointment and gave so much clarity to my husbands condition. Not the outcome I was praying for but she handled things in such a kind manner. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to have met her.

We were very fortunate to get an appt with Dr Stevens on the same day as we had another appt with another Barrow surgeon. Thank you to the staff for making that happen as we traveled from out of state. We had a great consultation with Dr Stevens re: my husband's neuro-ENT issues and will be planning surgery by him in the near future.
