When I couldn't get in to see my doctor right away, I decided I was sick enough to go to an urgent care. I have never been to one and didn't know what to expect. The front office was clean and welcoming. The front desk personnel was very helpful. The medical staff showed they cared about my health. An XRay and blood work were done during the same appointment. Prescriptions ordered. I walked away relieved knowing what my illness was. I highly recommend this location if you are needing care and can't get in to see your doctor.
My appointment with the doctor and medical assistant was outstanding but the office staff was not very welcoming. The lady was here fill this out and bring back ID and insurance which is typical and expected but her welcoming was not very friendly. Maybe it was a bad day I don’t know and this is unusual for banner urgent care. There was only one person ahead of me and I was in the back quickly. The Medical Assistant and the Doctor were friendly professional all around and so was the radiology tec.
I went to urgent care very first time-- I didn't want to go but my friend insisted so I went. Best experience I could have ever had sounds crazy huh going to see a doctor!! But everyone that worked there was so nice and caring it was great. And the staff was even greater, thank you for taking care of me. Kym Kelly.
I love coming to this location for non urgent care. It doesn’t matter what day or hour - the service is always prompt - the longest I have ever walked is maybe 20 minutes. Additionally, service with a smile has been my experience, If you are in need of medical are, choose this location. You can even save your spot with the online app.
Nice people. I didn't have an appointment (putting the urgency in urgent care). Had to wait a while even though there were no other people in the lobby. But there was an emergency requiring 911 ambulance pickup for a person before me and the other patients that were waiting, that was probably the reason for the delay. It would have been nice to be advised of the delay. The X-ray technician was very nice (don't know if she is a regular staff member). If I ever NEED urgent care again (hopefully not) I'll be happy to come here. If there is a handicap assistance door button, I may have missed it.
The front office representatives were very welcoming, polite, and nice. The medical assistant was very short and not very friendly. Nobody asked about my medical history (eg. Diabetes, Hypertension, etc). The physician that saw me was not friendly and seemed to be rushing me as well. As I don’t expect everyone to be friendly, please least give a little bit of cordial energy. Trust me, I did not want to be sick to the point of having to use Urgent Care, but I needed medical care unfortunately.
Awful experience. Rude staff including Dr. with no bedside manner, I was mis dianosed,sent home with no aftercare instructions or anything. I will never go to that facility again. It is a large facility with hardly any wait time but now I understand why. Find somewhere else to go, this place is a waste of time if you are looking for serious medical assistance. There is a reason the Dr. is working at an urgent care and not a hospital, keep that in mind.
I visited the Banner Urgent Care Center using my Power Wheelchair because I believed I had UTI. I had spent 17 days in John C Lincoln Hospital where I was septic and had Colitis. I had multiple uterine catheters while there as I had se ere diarrhea until two days before dis charge. I was experiencing pain when urinating and an entire bottom cranberry juice hadn't cleared it up. I had a low grade temp. The PA said I didn't have a UTI and I needed to go to the ER. She didn't ask how I'd get there. I just agreed to go.
When I got home, about a tenth of a mile, I read the discharge paperwork from Urgent Care. It states that I would be going to an ER in my private vehicle and the risks associated with that had been discussed with me. I don't own a vehicle and I use Dial A Ride, which must be set up the day before, to travel with my power wheelchair. I was very upset regarding this dishonesty. She nor the Medical Assistant, had asked me how I was getting to the ER. No labs had been taken. Sugar had been found in my urine. This was gross negligence.
