What a joke. Sent via ambulance from my home and I am un-insured. I have avoided this place for 19 years as they once admitted me and told me my gallbladder needed to be removed. Got me in a room, withheld food and drink for AM surgery and then released me the next day basically stating that they mixed me up with someone else. This time, a day in ER, from ER to a room and by nightfall moved to ICU, from ICU back to semi private room to being dismissed the next day. Hospital bill never arrived. Called and they "emailed" me my bill. Had 100,000 bill from Banner the month before and received by hospital bill only after I called. Then all the other bills came via email, some text message (???) some not at all. On day 30.5, yes 30 and one half days after admission I received a text message (YES TEXT) from a collection agency TSI...I had been sent to collections by Envision Physicians Services ( docs at abrazo that charge 300-500 for a one minute visit) for a $2468.00 bill I HAD NEVER RECEIVED, NOT EMAIL, NOT TEXT OR USPS. I promptly called Envision to be told that all NO insurance patients get only 30- days to pay the bill or they are sent to collections. Lies, lies as I still have outstanding ancillary bills NOT in collections. As an uninsured patient I am grateful for the care, but the aftermath has been very detrimental to my healing need to overcome the stroke. The harassment and humiliation and unwillingness to budge or show any compassion has been eye opening. I am embarrassed for every call center employee that has to hitch their wagon to such a dispicable organization.
I’ve received the best care from this hospital. Everyone works as a team and is so caring, and patient. Doctor Howard is my hero. My nurse Jen is so sweet and efficient. The bedside manner of everyone who has helped me has been amazing. I feel very cared for. Thank you abrazo west campus. 🩷
I have been attending the Wound Care Clinic and the hyperbaric oxygen chamber at the Abrazo West Campus since the middle of February of 2026. Dr. Bingfen Yu, all the nurses and staff as well as Terry and Richard were so professional, kind, encouraging, friendly and informative. They treated me with respect and always were happy to see me. They have now become my friends and I will miss all of them. It was a long road to healing from a staph eppi and candida bone infection, but they made my days joyful. They were so much fun to be around! I highly recommend this Wound Care Clinic! They’re the best!!!
I just gave birth here yesterday and from the moment I came in every single person went above and beyond in taking care of me and my baby. Shelby was my nurse while actively giving birth and she really was exceptional and knew exactly what I needed every moment and was so efficient and truly cared for me, everyone after was the exact same. Dr. Howard was my doctor and I can’t say enough good things about him as well, he is by far the best obgyn- probably in our whole state, lol! The lactation consultant Barb was also top tier and truly cared about my baby and all my concerns. I wish I could name everyone else but truly from the moment I walked in to the moment I left everyone who took care of us went above and beyond and I couldn’t be more thankful for them!
I was really blown away with their services, nurses Kayli, Lyn, Anne, Joshua were exceptional making sure I was doing well, my meds were given on timely manner, ct scan, ultrasound, blood work. I went there with excruciating pain in my upper stomach left side pain, within 6hrs they were able to calm the situation, diagnosed, and discharged me. Although the Doctor who discharged me had a mask on did not hear anything he said. My initial Doctor was very articulate and precise. Love you all and thank you for your great service of making me feel better and safe. Keep up the good work.
If i could give 0 stars I would. I forced to go the one by my house first by the fire department. Then they transfered me to abrazo west. I wouldnt take my dog there. I got terrible bed sores after just 4 days im not that old either. Not only that but the high level of unethical behavior by everyone not just nurses but doctors all laughing and making fun of sick patients. Even those suffering from something that can cause a change in personalty due to the conditions inside the ICE. In my cause i will usually end up with a severe case of ICU syndrome which is almost like having schizophrenia but it gets better and goes away after a while.
However the abrazo hospital facilities should either have someone run them who knows what they are doing or they should all be shut down and in no way should they be teaching any doctors, nurses, exct. I think they should just be shut down. Id rather have the money put to making sure there are enough nurses at the area hospitals that you can go to where your not going to get a bed sore after just 2 to 4 days.
I spent 4 months in banner university last year and never ended up with a single bed sore so getting 4 in 4 days and having huge ones could have got me ill and elderly people can get septic from these sores if they get infected and they arent caught.
Be careful of abrazo facility.
I can’t say enough about the exceptional care I received from Dr. Yu and the entire wound care staff at Abrazo Wound Care, Goodyear, Arizona. From the moment I walked in, I felt supported, respected, and truly cared for. The team is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive—every step of my treatment was explained clearly, and they always took the time to make sure I was comfortable and confident in the process.
Dr. Yu’s expertise is evident, but what really sets this clinic apart is the compassion and teamwork. The nurses and support staff are just as remarkable—kind, organized, and consistently going above and beyond to make each visit smooth and stress free.
Thanks to their dedication, my healing progressed faster than I expected, and I always felt like I was in the best hands possible. I’m deeply grateful for the outstanding care and would recommend this team to anyone in need of wound care.
They deserve a TEN STAR RATING. **********

My family’s experience at this hospital during my nephew’s final days was devastating.
As a close family member helping support his mother, I attempted to advocate for my dying nephew and ask questions regarding his care. Instead of receiving clear communication and compassion, I was repeatedly met with hostility, dismissiveness, and what I felt was discriminatory treatment.
I requested the names of the staff members responsible for my nephew’s care so that I could better understand who was providing information and treatment. I was told I did not need that information and was refused the names I requested.
One interaction was particularly disturbing. A physician assistant spoke to me in a loud, condescending, and intimidating manner, repeatedly stating that my nephew was “expired,” “dead,” and “deceased.” Rather than showing empathy toward a grieving family, I felt belittled and bullied while trying to understand what was happening to my loved one.
I also asked about the possibility of transferring my nephew to another hospital for evaluation and additional options. My questions were never clearly answered. Instead, after continuing to ask questions and advocate for my family, I was told that staff felt “uncomfortable” and I was escorted out of the facility by security. This happened twice.
Most heartbreaking of all, my nephew’s own mother stated that she wanted me present to help her make difficult decisions regarding his care. Despite this, I was removed from the hospital and prevented from being there for my family during one of the worst moments of our lives.
I also witnessed what I felt was poor communication regarding my nephew’s condition, including discussions that were directed toward individuals who were not his legal decision-makers while concerns raised by immediate family members went unanswered.
Another deeply troubling aspect of our experience was that discussions regarding organ donation were introduced very early in my nephew’s hospitalization, before our family felt that all possible aggressive treatment options had been fully explained and discussed. From our perspective, conversations about organ procurement appeared to receive significant attention while we were still seeking answers about treatment, transfer options, and what additional measures could be taken to save his life.
This left our family feeling as though organ donation was being emphasized before we had fully understood or exhausted potential medical interventions. Whether intended or not, this created a profound sense of distrust and added to the emotional trauma we experienced during an already devastating situation.
My nephew has since passed away. The pain of losing him is difficult enough, but the way our family was treated during his final days has left lasting emotional wounds. Families facing the possible loss of a loved one deserve compassion, transparency, respect, and honest communication. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
Please don’t let your loved ones go to this hospital.
