I was disappointed with my experience at Smile Dental. I was waiting for an RC (root canal) procedure, but even after 15 days I had not received an appointment or a clear update, which left me unsure whether a doctor was available to carry out the treatment.
A wait of more than two weeks for a root canal felt unreasonable, especially when many other dental clinics are able to arrange the same procedure within 2–3 days. The lack of communication and urgency made the process frustrating and concerning for my dental health.
Since there is no option for a lower rating, I have given one star based on my experience. I would encourage anyone needing prompt treatment and clear communication to consider another dental clinic.
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Gyeong Won Jang. He first extracted one of my teeth, and the entire process was smooth and handled with great care. After that, he completed a filling for another tooth, and the result was perfect. His attention to detail and professionalism really stood out, and he made me feel comfortable throughout each step. I’m very satisfied with the quality of his work and would highly recommend him.
I am usually quite nervous about entering a dental clinic but I felt completely at ease at my initial examination, including a scale & polish and X-ray with Dr. Octavian - Mihai. He was caring, paid attention to detail and was very informative and clear. The girls at the reception were really friendly and approachable too.
I had a very good experience with Dr. Octavian. He takes great care of hygiene and maintains a very clean, professional environment.
He is a highly skilled and thorough general dentist, explains everything clearly, and makes you feel comfortable during the visit.
I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive dentist.
Karl (Gyeong Won Jang) is the gentlest, most empathetic and kind dentist I have ever come across. He is an all round excellent dentist. If you are uncomfortable going to the dentist for any reason, I would highly recommend booking an appointment with him. I found everyone else at Smiles O’Connell St to be really lovely and professional too. It’s also very easy to get an appointment, even at the weekend. I’m very happy with the work I’ve had done.
It's a really professional place. I got a tooth extraction. Service and treatment worked really well. Dr.Jang was so professional and gentle. Price was not so expensive. Thank you 🤝
I recently visited for a check up & clean with Dr Mohammed. I had a few of my own concerns but he also highlighted some areas too. He took time to fully explain to me what was needed, why and he agreed a treatment plan that was transparent. I had 3-4 appointments with him over a number of weeks and I am exceptionally happy with how it all went! I’ve never come across a dentist with such care and concern for patient comfort & understanding. I feel confident in my smile again and that is more than i expected.
Also a mention to Hailey in reception. She quickly identified I was nervous when I first arrived. She helped calm me and prepare me for my appointment, above and beyond her role no doubt. She spoke to me by name and always with a friendly touch. A true credit to the clinic.
Overall, my experience was 5 star! This clinic is ran very well with patient service at its core!
