Just finished my egg freezing process here and they were brilliant from start to finish. Everyone - from the front desk staff to the nurses/midwives and doctors was amazing throughout. I felt very informed and supported every step of the way, from starting the process, during treatment, and even afterwards as well.
The retrieval went really well, and overall I felt Sims could not have done more to make me feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire process. Excellent team all around - very grateful for the care I received.
We had a very good experience with our IVF journey in Clonskeagh, which resulted in 1 embryo that thankfully stuck and gave us our daughter who is now 1 week old. The staff were lovely to us at all times and the Salve app meant all instructions were so clear, and we could get in touch so easily with any queries. Would definitely recommend.
We started our journey with Sims in November 2023 following the open day in Clonskeagh. After 2 failed FET and additional testing we fell pregnant in June 2025. We welcomed our beautiful baby boy last week and we couldn't be more grateful to the teams in Clonskeagh and Dundalk. They were always extremely accommodating booking appointments to suit or schedules as much as possible and were always available to answer all of our questions.
Wanted to express our deepest gratitude for gifting us with our perfect little boy. After 7 years of trying and 2 years of IVF, the team finally made our dreams a reality. Cannot thank you enough.
I had a very positive experience at Sims IVF Clonskeagh. The staff are professional, kind, and supportive throughout the entire process. They explain each step clearly and take the time to answer all questions, which makes the journey much less stressful. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and the team genuinely cares about their patients’ wellbeing. I felt heard and supported throughout my treatment and would highly recommend Sims IVF to anyone considering fertility care in Dublin. Thank you so much to all the team ♥️
From the second you walk in the door to the moment you leave, every staff member that you meet is so friendly and they put you at ease. They know how you and your partner feel and know the right things to say. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful baby girl from our FET which we had in August 2024. Doctor Javaria was such a lovely person and kept us up to date at every point of the process. She ensured the right decisions were made for us and that we understood what was happening at every step. The Salve App is brilliant and any questions that we had along the way were answered straight away. If you are someone like me who would rather email or text someone, rather than speaking on the phone, this app will be your best friend. It's a tough and long journey, but Sims Clonskeagh make the journey more bearable and straight forward. We can't thank them enough for making our journey a smooth and amazing one. We would highly recommend this clinic. Our beautiful baby girl was born on 2nd May 2025 and this would not have been possible without the dedication of the amazing staff at Clonskeagh. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
DO NOT RECOMMEND
Sharing my terrible experience with Sims IVF as the doctor shows no empathy but interest in profits only.
1. Sims was the only clinic recommended dual-stimulation for someone with diminished ovarian reserve like me. I have consulted two other clinics after my first attempt with Sims and the two doctors both suggested dual-stimulation was for research purpose. Doesn’t seem to have other reasons except profit for doctor to suggest this plan.
2. Doctor I had has no empathy and did not provide scientific and detailed root cause analysis. I had the worst result which as nothing was collected and Doctor just said this was just bad luck or some other reasons. However, the some other reasons where never well explained. While I was sick after the surgery, the doctor still recommended having the next cycle without considering my mental health.
3. Pricey. Egg freezing treatment is costly but Sims is one of the most expensive and there are other clinics offering better service at lower price. Do your research and look into the terms including the refund of collecting no egg which makes a difference too in cases of disappointing outcome.
4. Resources limited. I was sedated for the surgery and was told to get up and return my bad after I woke up and barely sober. I didn’t even have time to cope with the disappointing results and got kicked out from my bad. This is the service you shall expect because my friend had the exact same feedback at this clinic.
Though I was disappointed with the Doctor I had and the services provided by some of the nurses on the surgery day. A few of the nurses were kind and helpful to address all my questions.
Think carefully of your choice of clinic because most likely you won’t switch to another clinic if you have some eggs collected by them.
Went for egg freezing and they were brilliant from start to finish. Felt very informed when starting the process, the nurses were also very nice through the week two scanning process when you can be nervous how it is all going. Retrieval went well and overall felt Sims couldn’t have done more to make me feel comfortable in the process.
