My son who has autism adhd and is non verbal had his teeth done by Dr Margaret today. I am so happy with the results from meeting Margaret I instantly felt comfortable with her I felt my child was seen and treated with so much respect. Margaret and her team were wonderful with us today I am forever grateful and will be back with Dr Margaret for any more future work. Thanks from a very happy mammy ☺️

In 2022, when my son was 6 years old, he chipped half of his front baby tooth after an accident and felt uncomfortable. We simply wanted to have that baby tooth removed. However, after the examination at this clinic, they insisted that the tooth had to be extracted under general anaesthesia and presented us with a treatment plan costing €3,280. This didn’t feel right to me, so I went to another dental clinic for a second opinion. The next day, they completed the examination and scheduled the extraction. My son had the tooth removed easily under local anaesthesia for only €150, with just one filling. His teeth have been perfectly fine ever since. My older child had a general anaesthesia procedure here during the pandemic, cost me 3890€ looking back, I really regret not consulting more clinics at that time — it could have avoided unnecessary extractions. In July 2025, we returned only for a routine check-up. A trainee dentist took X-rays but said she couldn’t give the results. A few days later, Margaret emailed us with another treatment plan. I went back to the clinic where my son previously received treatment, and after re-examination and new X-rays, they confirmed there was no problem at all. I called Margaret to inform her, but she insisted they still believed treatment was needed. I honestly don’t understand why treatment would be required when multiple dentists have confirmed the teeth are healthy. I hope this review helps other parents: When you receive a large treatment plan, always consult more than one dental clinic. It can save you a lot of unnecessary stress, procedures, and money.

I could not rate this practice higher if I tried. As a child psychologist I’m hyper aware of how services interact with children & this practice is an examplar of excellence. Warmth; understanding; patience: kindness : professionalism; genuinely giving a damn in the most humane & compassionate way: if more health services followed the Tuite Dental ethos we’d have an immeasurably better & kinder health service

We brought our young son to have dental work done by Dr. Tuite yesterday. We were put at ease from the start and staff were attentive, respectful, friendly and professional. So smooth was the process that my son didn't even know he had had dental work done until I told him, a few hours into our journey home. 😁 We will be forever grateful to Dr Tuite and the surgical team for how well they looked after him and for the sense of relief they have given to us. No hesitation in recommending this team and we are extremely relieved that we went straight to the top and enlisted the best team for this important job.

I wasn't sure what to think with the negative reviews ahead of bringing out 5 year old for fairly extensive dental work under anesthetic to this practice. I can only speak for our case but I have zero complaints - the care was excellent, they were very empathetic to our nervous child and dealt with that very well, it was obvious the whole team incl. Dr tuite loved what they did and were very competent, genuine and trustworthy. The clinic was well kept and we felt very well looked after. Let's just say based off our experience (which is all I can go by), I'm glad I didn't take the negative reviews too seriously. :)

Before start I would like to say that if this would be a review of staff it would be 5 star review, for being kind and friendly. This was the only clinic willing to see us the next day after calling them and they were nice to us. So with that said, I would like to share our whole experience, so maybe help parents in future with similar issues. And also, this low star is not only for this clinic but for dentistry in Ireland in general. Our 5 year old son got the abscess and terrible pain during the weekend so we went to clinic in our area first thing Monday morning. The dentist there examed him, took an x-ray and told us that decay is in advanced stage and there are other teeth that will need treatment but that we shall find pediatric dental clinic to deal with it. After failing to find anyone in our area (southeast, waiting time 3 months or more) I found Dr.Tuite Dental online. After explaining situation over the phone we got the appointment the very next day. I was thrilled and kept promising to my son that they will help him for sure. This was already Wednesday. So I sent the x-ray over the email with all other details and on Thursday we drove over to them. Dentist who did the assessment was good in doing her job but if that would be normal check up and not the emergency with 5 years old child, finishing antibiotics and being on painkillers for days, that they seemed not to work anymore! After counting his teeth and taking photos with the phone, she decided that another x-ray is needed. After doing it she explained to us what will be needed and that they need up to 3 weeks to arrange treatment plan. That she will put him as a priority but hopefully we will get the treatment date in next month or so. For a child who is in pain! This is not good enough. And that if we want to ease pain for him, painkillers are the only solution. Receipt for this was €200. We decided to fly to our home country asap and this was the best decision. 5 days later, his tooth is sorted, and saved! No need for general anesthetic (!), no need for extracting 2 baby teeth to put retainers which is not only costly but unnecessary. Today I received treatment plan, quite quickly I must say, on over €5,500.00 Only general anesthetic over €1,600.00 I'm not an expert but all of this is mind blowing. I helped my child to ease the pain by going into tooth with sterile needle and let some of the puss out. This is not a recommendation for doing it for sure, but if I was able to do that they surely need to know how to do SOS in emergency. And not to send child home like that. I feel sorry for anyone who has to go through this type of experience and I hope dental care in Ireland will improve and it will improve soon! For now, we learn our lesson. Whatever happened, we will not wait a moment but book our flights. To save time, money, nerves and teeth. Cheers

Have used this dental clinic for the last three years with our two kids. It's a trek to get to for us. But we wouldn't go anywhere else. The kids have never been afraid of going, all of the dentists are great as well as the dental nurses and the reception team. Tha simple things like talking with the kids, having some books and toys in the waiting room, funny teddys in the surgery. And a special mention to the patience and understanding of the dentists on every visit. Definitely recommend if you are looking to bring a kid to a dentist for any work or general check ups.

I can’t say enough about this dental practice. My 2 year old son was refereed to a different dentist with a 12 week wait list. Luckily Dr Tuite and team received my referral and with 2 days Ami received a consultation and surgery for my son. Everything about the experience was easy and supportive. They made a very stressful situation, safe. Thank you 🙏🙏
