I've had a very positive experience at this clinic. My dentist has always been professional, caring, and excellent at what he does. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and always makes me feel comfortable during my appointments. Based on my experience with my dentist, I would highly recommend the clinic to anyone looking for quality dental care.

From the very first point of contact Everyone at this Practice has been fantastic, I suffer from a lot of mental health issues, insomnia and ADHD ànd Stockwell Dental could not have been more understanding, patient and attentive to my needs. I’d like to especially thank Morgan and the assistant that i saw, they made me feel confident when I felt silly and explained things clearly so I totally understood things, they also listened to me when others wouldnt and have helped me get the help I needed In a world where not many people care, this lot certainly do So thank you!

I had a hygienist appointment and a check-up at Stockwell Dental Practice and it was a very positive experience. The staff were kind, welcoming and very professional. I felt at ease the whole time and everything was explained clearly. The hygienist was very gentle and thorough. I would definitely recommend this place....Thank you

I was recommended this clinic and Dr. João by a family member, and I’m extremely grateful. I travel about an hour for my appointments, but it’s absolutely worth it, plus the clinic is just a 1-minute walk from the tube/bus station. Well connected. The reception team is polite and professional. Dr. João is reassuring, transparent, always on time, and an excellent professional. I highly recommend this clinic for general treatments nhs/private. They also offer other services, although I haven’t tried them yet.

I’ve been a patient here for several years but unfortunately the customer service has been very inconsistent. I always make an effort to arrive early yet appointments routinely start 5–15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time. However when I arrived 12 minutes late due to unforeseen circumstances my appointment was automatically cancelled. What disappointed me most was the lack of understanding from the receptionist (Danielle) especially given that I had travelled a considerable distance. The receptionist was dismissive and showed little willingness to help or find a solution. I understand that practices need policies regarding late arrivals but it feels unfair when patients are expected to adhere to a strict 10-minute grace period while delays on the practice’s side are commonplace. If a practice actively accepts and advertises patients from across the UK it should also recognise that some patients travel significant distances and that occasional delays can happen. Cancelling an appointment because a patient is just two minutes beyond the grace period seems unnecessarily rigid, particularly when the practice itself is frequently running behind schedule. After years of being a loyal patient, I expected a more considerate and professional response. Unfortunately, this experience has left me feeling that patient loyalty and circumstances are given little consideration.

I had a great experience at Stockwell Dental Practice. The staff were friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The service was efficient, and I'm very happy with the care I received. Highly recommended!

I visited this dentist for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I found the dentist to be unfriendly and it really wasn’t a warm welcome to the practice. Additionally, payment was taken before my appointment which I find really odd. I was subsequently booked in for further appointments and upon my second visit the same dentist was equally as unfriendly. The hygienist I saw was pleasant and this appointment was fine. The charges were incredibly confusing and some I haven’t been able to claim back through my insurance. I believe I may have been mislead and am now out of pocket. I don’t think the charges were explained clearly enough and I think profit was the priority and not my genuine needs. I very much doubt I will return to this practice.
