If you’re ever thinking of going to Sherwood just do it!
Picture one was my original scans with Farah our Invisalign queen (top 1% of providers) she is an actual magician. Could not have done enough for me, super bubbly and reassuring. She managed to to get me to the second photo with some plastic trays, elastics, buttons and some love.
Then there’s Dr Ali he got me to the third picture with composite veneers and some gum contouring. Again he was super reassuring and such a kind man.
We cannot forget the lovely reception team all all the dental nurses that have supported over the years.
I’ve always been a smiler but ever since I’ve had them done I haven’t stopped
I cannot recommend Sherwood Dental Practice in Birmingham highly enough.
I actually travel from London to Birmingham specifically to see Dr Ali, which says everything about the level of care provided. The entire team is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the practice itself is spotless and beautifully maintained. Dr Ali and the team are highly professional, thorough, and always takes the time to explain everything clearly, which makes the whole experience reassuring and comfortable. From start to finish, it’s always a pleasant experience. Truly outstanding service all round!
I recently had a tooth extraction after an old root canal tooth could no longer support a crown. I was understandably anxious, but my dentist Dr Alishia Zafar, made the entire experience far easier than I expected. She was incredibly compassionate, calm, and reassuring throughout the procedure. Her gentle approach, patience, and attention to my comfort really stood out, and I felt genuinely cared for every step of the way. I’m very grateful for the professionalism and kindness she showed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and her nurse Sonia to others.
So I’ve been a patient with Sherwood Dental for a few years but this is (I think) my first time leaving a review..
Today I had my first appointment for treatment with Dr Alishia Zafar and her nurse Eva. I can’t say enough how amazing they were! From start to finish they were chatty and made me feel really comfortable, which I appreciate as someone who feels very anxious going to the dentist. They kept me updated throughout the process on what was happening, and at the end of the treatment was able to show me photos of each stage. I appreciate the time and effort they put into ensuring I had a great experience.
I also wanted to thank the practice for hearing out my concerns for treatment and finding a solution that suited my needs. I’ll look forward to visiting Alishia and Eva again in the future!
My son had his tooth taken out by Dr Alishia Zafar and nurse Sonia, they made sure he was comfortable all the way through and knew what was happening next. He said he barely felt anything and they was very skilled, he didn't bleed either! The Dr and nurse are very polite, kind and its obvious she loves her job and values her patient's comforts.
So i went in today to see my dentist ALISHA ZAFAR as i was fed up of seeing silver fillings in my mouth...so after consulting Alisha i decided to change these to white fillings. A plan was made which i was happy with. Both Alisha Zafar and her nurse Sonia were soo friendly, polite and professional..checking to see if i was ok throughout my appointment. My experience was great and after seeing the results...i was very happy. Its the attention to detail i liked the most.
I had a great experience with Dr alishia Zafar today. I was quite nervous going in for a tooth extraction and a few fillings, but she immediately put me at ease. She took the time to explain everything clearly and talked me through each step, which made a big difference.The whole process was pain free and I felt comfortable throughout. Her assistant nurse, Cher was also really helpful and supportive, which made the experience even better. Dr Zafar was very patient in answering all my questions and concerns at the end, which I really appreciated. Overall, I found it to be a caring and professional experience.
I have been going to this dental practice for over 20 years now and have been seen by a few different dentists there. My first routine check up with Dr Alishia and her assistant Sonia was great. They made me feel completely at ease in their care throughout the appointment. Dr Alishia was extremely thorough and took the time to explain things when needed. I didn't feel like the appointment was rushed at all. She gave me professional advice and treated any questions I had with kindness and respect. My 2 year old son was also at the appointment and they both took time to make him feel comfortable and happy which isn't always easy with a toddler in a new environment! Thank you both for your time and patience, I look forward to my next appointment with you both!
