I can’t recommend Aaquil highly enough. From the moment you sit in the chair, he puts you completely at ease with his calm, friendly, and professional manner. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, making even the most nervous patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment.
The quality of his work is outstanding. His attention to detail, skill, and commitment to achieving the best results are evident in every aspect of his treatment. I’ve always been extremely pleased with the results and feel that I’m receiving the highest standard of dental care.

I had been suffering from severe tooth pain for the past 5 days and was really stressed because my final exam is only 5 days away. Thankfully, I managed to get an emergency appointment through the NHS. Both the staff and the dentist were very friendly and supportive. They performed a partial root canal treatment, which gave me immediate relief. Alhamdulillah, I’m feeling much better now and the pain is gone. A huge thank you to everyone at Ravat & Ray Dental Care as well as the NHS team for their excellent care and support.
Terrible experience. I rang through NHS emergency and booked an appointment and I have been in so much agony since monday. It was literally a 5 minute appointment and the dentist just prescribed me antibiotics. I have explained my situation and said my wisdom tooth is impacted and needs taking out because this is not the first time it has become infected like this and the pain is betond unbearable. jowever he wouldnt even do an X ray or even clean the site in my mouth. The dentist only took 1 look and gave me the prescription and basically said if u want an extraction you should go through private. I asked why cant you guys do it. They said they cant because its swollen. Ridiculous. it was no help and I am still in pain and not sure how to deal with it now. What are these dentists here for? on top I paid nearly £28 for a like a 2 minute appointment. They could have atleast taken a proper look at it or cleaned the area!?
We attended an urgent NHS appointment today for my sister and were very disappointed with the experience. The dentist came across as rushed from the start and she was quite abrupt throughout the appointment. We were hoping to get some advice and reassurance about the problem, but instead we felt like we were hurried out without any real explanation or guidance.
We understand that urgent clinics can be busy, but there is no excuse for speaking to patients in a dismissive manner, especially when treating a child. We were simply told to see our regular dentist, without being given any helpful advice in the meantime.
A little kindness and communication would have made a huge difference. Sadly, this was not the level of care or professionalism we expected.
Fantastic dentist today, Dr Aaquil Rashid. The most informative check-up I’ve ever had, a thorough clean (pain free and no sign of bleeding gums), friendly, full of encouragement and he also gave me some great advice. Best dentist I’ve ever crossed paths with! Thank you Dr. Rashid!
Outstanding service from start to finish. The standard of dental care is always excellent, but what makes this dentist exceptional is his ability to connect with patients.
He took the time to understand my anxieties and made me feel comfortable and supported throughout. His clear instructions, reassuring manner, and great sense of humour made a real difference to my experience.
A genuinely kind and personable professional — I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
Avoid these butchers
Recently had an appointment here via the 111 emergency dental service as a molar tooth had cracked due to wisdom tooth interference.
The dentist I saw didn’t believe me and proceeded to poke around my mouth, without anaesthesia, insisting that it was just my wisdom teeth coming in causing the pain.
Once I insisted on an Xray the issue was clear and I was told that my tooth was cracked and needed to come out (duh).
Received anaesthesia and she went to town. However only removed half of the broken tooth before explaining that I would need a specialist referral to remove the rest!
So now I have half a broken tooth with exposed root. “Oh but not to worry we’ll write a prescription for some antibiotics”. Sure fine, better than nothing whilst I wait for the referral.
Well upon trying to get this filled at a chemist I was told the format was incorrect and the prescription slip was invalid. So no antibiotics for me.
1 month later, radio silence on the referral if it ever existed and I’m now having to go to a proper dentist and pay privately to have the work done correctly.
Ravat & Ray wanted me in and out so they could get their money and be done with me. No care or attention was given. They hurt me, left me without any follow up, and actively made my situation worse.
Been going here for a few years now for me and my 2 kids. Always professional, accommodate times suitable for us as we’re working parents. Kids feel at ease when they go in for their check-ups. Staff are always friendly and talkative which is great. The dentists always take time to explain things and share best practice, answer questions rather than rushing you out. Defo recommend this place.
