Really lovely experience with reception, the dentist, and the hygienist. Reception is always so helpful and friendly, especially as it was my first time going to see a dentist in this country. Keith, one of the dentists, did a thorough examination and put me at ease (not a small feat in that situation!). Safa, the hygienist, was outstanding, very gentle, and told me what she was doing as she went, which helped with nerves. Going back for more scaling in the next two weeks, but I can definitely recommend this practice.
Going to the dentist is never “fun”, but MF Dental are brilliant at offering a relaxed atmosphere. When I go in, I’m always greeted by one of the 2, (sometimes both), girls on reception with big smiles & made to feel welcome, which, I find, puts me at ease. The dentists & their nurses are always friendly & are thorough in their initial consultation & during the actual treatment.
I don’t really like praising one member of staff more than others as they are all nice people doing the same thing, but I have to say on my last visit, (14/05/26), I saw a new dentist & assistant & they were both so lovely, kind, patient & helpful. Sadly, I can’t remember their names, I know she was a “locum”, but I really hope MF Dental can convince them to stay!

I have attended MF Dental Care twice before, one appointment was an emergency and have been treated with kindness and politeness each time I have been. I am an extremely nervous patient but am always put at ease and the Dentist is one of the best Dentists that has ever treated me.
Great service overall, but on this visit when I was having treatment, the planned treatment changed during the procedure and I wasn't made aware until after it was completed. I'd have preferred to have been informed before.
Although I was very anxious about having a tooth extracted Mr Ainsworth and the dental nurse were very sympathetic and gave me time. They were not rushed and I felt reassured. The socket did bleed for a few hours even though I applied firm pressure on the pad. It did stop before bedtime fortunately. I am still getting pain but am taking paracetamol which helps. I haven’t eaten anything that requires chewing as yet. I am rinsing my mouth with salt water as directed. I’m
I had a lot of work that needed doing as l hadn’t been to the dentist in at least 25 years.
My fear of the dentist was very high. I was put in with Keith because l was so nervous, but I’m so glad l was. Keith is absolutely lovely and very calming. In fact all the staff are brilliant. The surgery is also a nice calm and relax area which helps with nervous people like me.
I'm not sure anyone can truly say that going for a filling is a pleasurable experience but my experience this week was probably as positive as it could be!
The reception staff and the nurse were all very friendly and the dentist, Kulsum, was excellent - I never felt a thing from the injection nor the drilling and filling and she took great care to make it feel comfortable afterwards.
The hardest part for me was keeping my mouth open for 30 minutes but my wife doesn't seem to have trouble so maybe I just need a bit more practice!
I'm not particularly hoping to rush back for another visit but I know that when I do, I'll be well looked after - thank you all!
