I had an appointment with both the hygienist and the dentist at Hornsey Dental Centre, and I also interacted with the receptionists. Everyone was professional, kind, and truly committed to doing their job well. The clinic is clean, organized, and welcoming, which made my visit very comfortable.
While waiting, I noticed that some people were being extremely rude to the staff, and it was disheartening to see. No one deserves to be treated that way. The team works hard, and dealing with rude customers can be overwhelming and can even lead to mistakes — they’re human too. Kindness goes a long way, and when you treat people with respect, you receive the same in return.
Despite the challenges they faced that day, the staff were incredibly helpful and patient with me. I appreciate how well they handled everything and how pleasant they made my experience. It’s a reminder that being on your best behaviour makes a big difference — no one else is responsible for your bad day.
Overall, I highly recommend Dentis Clinic for their professionalism, kindness, and excellent care.
I have had concerns and worries about dentists for many years. However I had an issue with a tooth, that turned into a root canal, with my nerve dying. I had heard from Mum and brother as well as locally how great this place was. As I was in need and needed to be seen, I rang and spoke wife reception. I was accepted for NHS check up and what I liked was the honesty of the prices, and how upfront they were. On my check up, dentist immediately referred me to be seen by a specialist for what is a root canal and the other minor issues, I have can be seen at later dates. Dentist was professional, courteous, calm and understanding. I don't have much fund wise currently, and they were all understanding of that, at this location without judgement. When I raised the funds, I was seen by the specialist. I was prepared in advance, I may have to see the specialist twice. The specialist was that superb, I was seen in one sitting with the route canal all sorted and filled in. I haven't had an issue since with it. I am still raising for my minor tooth chip and seeing the hygienist, but with the dentist and specialist, with the great reception team and nurses, this is a superb practice. They have quashed my fears of poor dentistry you hear from so many. Definitely worthwhile. Thank you to all of you at Hornsey Dental Centre.
I had a great experience at Hornsey Dental. Matias and Nurse Khadija were brilliant, friendly, professional and really made me feel at ease. Everything was explained clearly and the care was excellent. Highly recommend!
I’ve had good experiences with the dental practice. Dr Elahim has been excellent - very friendly, professional, and kind. He has made me feel at ease and explains things very well. I’ve been registered for around 5 years and it’s always been pretty easy to get an appointment and I’ve had good experiences with the Reception team.
Longstanding patient here with a great dentist who left. So far so good with the two dentists I’ve seen since then. Hygienist service good although in a tiny room! Sometimes wish the deposit and balance payment amounts could be explained more clearly in each instance and that such conversations could not be overheard in the Reception area.
I have been a patient at this de for a while now, today l had an appointment, as my crown fell out nearly a month ago, this was the first appointment available, I do understand the Centre is extremely busy. l arrived and was greeted by two lovely ladies on reception. Rudeane and Neeta so pleasant and friendly. Since the crown fell out l did not experience any pain, however the way the two ladies spoke to me l felt most relaxed and happy to see two smiling faces.
I did not have to wait long before Dr Ms Hiba Asrar called me in. When l was a child I had. Very very bad experience with my dentist at the time, I used to be petrified of going.
Hiba soon put me a ease reassuring me all the time and making sure l was ok, l feel so confident and comfortable visiting my dentist.
I would recommend this Dental Centre to my friends.

I've just finished Sparks dental straightening treatment here; All the staff are very polite, professional and thorough, but special thanks to Dr Menesha Patel who was amazing through the whole process. JJ also was very informative, the nurses/assistants and receptionists are friendly and helpful. Will recommend Hornsey Dental Clinic to my friends, thank you so much for giving me confidence in my smile that I never had before! 😊
