After having initial consultations at a few dentists for some extensive dental work and implants, I decided to go forward with Half Moon as Daniel was by far the most understanding, confident, and professional of all the dentists I spoke to.
Just under a year later and I’ve finished my treatment plan and am over the moon with the end results!!
I couldn’t recommend Daniel and his team highly enough. From the reception staff who always managed to squeeze in emergency appointments when needed, to the dental assistants who were friendly and clearly know what they’re doing too. Daniel’s calm knowledge and empathetic nature makes him the perfect choice for those looking to take on extensive dental work.

I have been attending Half Moon Dental Practice for a number of years and have always found every member of the team there to be very professional and caring starting from the reception staff to the dentists ( Daniel and Nikki in particular) and specialists. Today I went there for a check up with Toby Beal and he explained the issue with tooth in a friendly and thorough way making the whole experience comfortable.
Half Moon Dental Centre is a friendly, welcoming practice. The reception team are great at helping get the vest appointment time. My dental hygienist, Kasia Porebska, is excellent, professional, efficient, and always makes me feel at ease. She also gives really helpful, practical advice. As someone who clenches my jaw and wears a night guard, I can find it tiring to keep my mouth open during appointments, and she thoughtfully recommended a TMJ specialist physiotherapist to help with this, which I really appreciated.
I needed a crown fitted to a broken tooth. I have had some very bad experiences in the past so am very nervous at the dentist. Nici put me at ease and the whole process was painless, quick and very successful - I have been singing her praises ever since.
From having a phobia about Dentists to the greatest smile on earth!!
Two years ago my teeth were a mess, I wouldn’t smile and they really got me down. There’s plenty of work to be done, not just dentistry but on my phobia.
Jack the dentist totally understood. He constantly reassured me, explaining the steps behind every treatment totally worked.
Now after 6 visits and a combined almost 2 days in the dentist chair, all nervousness had gone and I have the best crowns and an awesome smile.
Mental health is the best it’s been as well.
If you go to any dentist choose half moon. Not just for Jack but the three adorable receptionists, who make every visit a pleasure.
Sharon is so consistently perfect, she explains why you should do what you should do clearly and calmly. Best hygienist I’ve seen. Both me and my wife are so happy with her for the last several years.
You may never enjoy going to the dentist, but if you do have to go, this is as good as it gets. Daniel and team are kind, friendly and considerate. Treatment is excellent. Best dentist I've ever been to.
Have never felt more cared for at a dental surgery ! From reception to sitting in the dental chair 10/10 care and kindness from everyone. Makes going to the dentist that bit less scary and dare I say a nice experience (coming from someone who doesn’t like needles or sharp rods in their mouth!)
