This is a genuine and sincere opinion!!
First: ignoring the five star ratings and glowing messages, because that’s not the reality, you are practically forced to leave a five star review and mention how well the doctor treated you. (At least in my case, they asked me to show them the review and took a photo of it though, of course, I deleted it afterward.)
Second: the doctor is nowhere to be found on the day of the surgery; the technicians perform the procedure not to disparage their work, but from what I observed, there was very poor hygiene management and a failure to keep clean and dirty areas separate. (I’m nurse technician)
Third: The only thing Dr. Munir did was come to see me to make the openings where the grafts would go; his assistants handled everything else extraction, implantation, and anesthesia.
Fourth: They try to get money out of you at all costs; while you're undergoing surgery and are fully conscious they come in offering things like platelet rich plasma (some clinic that is).
Fifth: You never see them again; everything is fine at first. they call to confirm appointments and send reminders but after the surgery, there’s absolutely nothing (it’s been almost 11 months since the surgery, and not a single call).
Sixth: It’s been almost 11 months and the results are horrible: little growth, and the hairs are growing in unnatural directions.
I wrote this so that doesn't happen to you, and so you can look for a truly professional place.
My experience with Hair Growth Centre in Manchester has been extremely disappointing.
I had my initial consultation with Nihal, who discussed my hair transplant options and gave me the confidence to proceed with treatment. Based on that consultation, I agreed to go ahead and paid a £1,000 deposit on 15/02/2026 and a further £1,000 on 02/05/2026, paying £2,000 in total.
On the day of my scheduled surgery, I was assessed by Dr Munir and then Dr Gillani. It was only during those consultations that I was told the realistic graft number was around 3,000–3,500, that one procedure would not provide the level of coverage and density I expected, and that I would likely need more than one procedure to achieve the overall result.
This information was very different from my understanding when I agreed to proceed and paid for the treatment. Had I been told before paying that one procedure was unlikely to achieve the result I expected and that multiple procedures might be required, I would not have agreed to proceed on the same basis.
No surgery was carried out. After speaking with both doctors, I was advised to go home and think about whether I wanted to continue.
I requested a full refund because no procedure had been performed. The clinic initially offered £500, then increased this to £800, and later £1,000, but refused to refund the full £2,000 I had paid. The matter is now being pursued through my credit card provider.
This is my personal experience. I hope it helps anyone considering treatment to ask detailed questions about realistic graft numbers, expected density, and whether more than one procedure may be needed before making payment.

My husband got a hair transplant here today.
Plenty of information before hand , everything explained well.
Dr Munir was good, explained a lot to us and didn’t put any pressure on my husband to purchase extras.
He made us feel at ease and was very open and honest about everything.
The transplant took around 4/5 hours.
Hopefully will get good results :)
Dr Munir performed my FUE surgery today. Which was front hair line, and full top of head back to crown area.
I felt at ease throughout. His team are amazing and he kept me informed on the entire process as well as informing me of optional extras to improve the healing process and results.
I also have all of the post op aftercare to reference on online portal. Great service
I recently had a hair transplant at the Hair Growth Centre in Manchester, and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the entire experience.
From start to finish, the level of professionalism, care, and attention to detail was exceptional. The procedure was carried out by Dr Haider Gillani, who was absolutely fantastic. Dr Gillani took the time to explain every single step of the procedure clearly and calmly before and during the transplant, which put me completely at ease and gave me full confidence in what was being done.
He was supported by an amazing team Ijaz, Tian, Tamas, and Lai and I honestly can’t praise them enough. They were all incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout what is a long day. They consistently checked in on me, made sure I was comfortable, and carried out their work with real precision and care. You can tell they take pride in what they do.
The whole team worked seamlessly together, creating a relaxed and reassuring environment. It never felt rushed, and the focus was clearly on delivering the best possible result rather than just getting through the procedure.
If you’re considering a hair transplant and want a clinic that combines expertise, transparency, and genuinely caring staff, I would highly recommend the Hair Growth Centre in Manchester. A big thank you to Dr Gillani and the entire team for such an excellent experience truly top class.
An honest review of my experience
Some say they were forced to leave a review, (I was not). The doctors and technicians are honest and upfront about the pain. Some people have rated this clinic low because of the pain, what do you expect. The doctor did the incisions for the new grafts and designed my new hairline. The technicians do the extracting and putting the follicles in. Although I do wish there was some more doctor involvement the technicians did a great job. I'm on day 3 of recovery and everything looks so far so good. I have also been contacted post surgery to be checked up on. Sometimes the technicians talk in their own language to each other which is fine but when/ if it was about the procedure id of rather known instead of feeling like I was slightly been left out of the loop. Overall a very decent experience. I will update as time goes on regarding hair growth
I had a free consultation so I was sure I’m going for the right treatment. My friend had recommended me after he had good results. I was booked in and sent a message. The company looks good and I saw their website which looks good.
I had my consultation where I was shown whereabouts I can look to get my hairline and I was told about scalp and forehead muscle. It was good and I’m pleased. Thank you.
Ive had a hair transplant at the clinic on 4th of november. Everytghing went very smooth, and i have had a very good expiernce.The only downside that they cjarged me £300 for PRP at the end, which shoud be free, saying that its some better treatment. When i asked whats why is it better a nurse who was doing my hair said that its n ot only my plasma but also enzymes in the bottle....
Apart from that all gopod, and ive got more hair everyday, si=o highly recomemded.
