I recently visited Dr Adam Bookey’s Dental Surgery and had a scale and polish with Shirin Zarafshani. I was extremely pleased with the treatment I received.
Shirin did an excellent job and made the whole experience comfortable and reassuring. Her care, sensitivity, and understanding were greatly appreciated, and she took the time to ensure I felt at ease throughout the appointment. All the staff at the clinic are wonderful.
The clinic is always welcoming, professional, and friendly, making it a genuinely pleasant place to visit. Thank you, Shirin, for your excellent care and attention.

The response was incredibly prompt, they took full ownership of the situation, and everything was resolved quickly and perfectly. We were so grateful for the efficiency, expertise, and genuine care shown throughout.

If you need a dentist, I would highly recommend Dr Patrycja Bugaj. She is incredibly professional, kind, and has fantastic skills.
I have had two root canals and multiple fillings with Dr Bugaj, and for the first time in a long while, I finally feel happy and confident with my oral health. She takes such care and pride in her work, and it is clear that she never rushes anything. Every treatment feels thorough, calm, and carefully done.
She also takes the time to answer any questions and explain things properly, without ever making you feel like a burden. Her reassuring manner and attention to detail make a huge difference, and I’m very grateful for the care I’ve received. I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist they can truly trust.
Really scared of anything involving drills and injections 😅, but Shirin - one of the amazing dental therapists - did a fantastic job on my teeth! She made the whole experience feel so relaxing and stress-free that a part of me could actually sit back in the dental chair calmly and trust her to do what was needed.

I visited this practice yesterday for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist was incredibly friendly and took the genuine time to listen to all my concerns.
I was only booked in for a consultation, but the dentist was exceptionally professional. Instead of just jumping to removing my tooth, she sat me down, explained all my options, and made me feel involved in the decision. She is easily one of the most gentle and understanding dentists I’ve ever met. The practice itself is also spotlessly clean, which made me feel even more at ease. Highly recommend!
I had two fillings done today with Shirin, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She was very sweet and reassuring, which really helped me feel at ease. She was also extremely professional, and the procedure was completed smoothly within 20–30 minutes.
I had a pain in my upper wisdom tooth and my wife recommended that I go to see Dr Bookey as she had a very good experience of her wisdom tooth extraction by him 17 years ago! I initially booked an NHS appointment with a different dentist at the clinic which would have been in three weeks time but the next morning the pain became unbearable and luckily I was able to book an emergency visit on the day with Dr. Bookey albeit as a private client. He is a magician. He had finished extracting the tooth (obviously with my consent) in less than 10 minutes, including consultation, x-ray check and anaesthetics. I have not had any pain since. I am very happy with him and all the helpful staff at Albany Dental Centre, for their highly professional and efficient services at very reasonable cost and I cannot recommend Dr. Bookey highly enough.
