I had a dental cleaning today with Dr. Jay, and he is very friendly. Before getting started, he asked me a few questions, like when my last cleaning was. I told him it was ages ago 😅 so he would know what to expect. He was very accommodating and made sure to understand whether I was doing any other procedures at Dr. Joy. I told him I’m currently undergoing Invisalign treatment. The cleaning itself was very smooth. I usually don’t like dental cleanings because of the sound and occasional bleeding, but he was very gentle and made sure everything was done properly without being too painful. It was also quite fast. Afterward, he explained everything clearly and even mentioned future treatments my teeth might need after Invisalign, things I had completely forgotten about. I really appreciated that he made sure I understood everything, especially since sometimes I don’t even know what questions to ask. He also explained the aftercare very well. Overall, a really great experience. Highly recommended!

Dr. Irshad is an excellent oral surgeon — I totally recommend him. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed, and it was honestly one of the best dental experiences I’ve had (and I do have previous experience to compare with). The doctor was very informative throughout the whole procedure, always explaining what he was about to do and what to expect next, which made me feel calm and comfortable. He was very gentle, never made the experience scary, and always gave me time to rest when needed. What I appreciated the most was that he also checked on me after the procedure, which showed genuine care for his patients. Highly professional, attentive, and reassuring. Thank you, Dr. Irshad! 🙏

My experience was unfortunately very disappointing. I specifically called in advance to book an appointment with an airway specialist. I was told over the phone that the specialist was available and that my children were booked accordingly. After arriving, I found out that the appointment had actually been scheduled with a general dentist. It took about an hour before I was informed that airway assessment was not her specialty and that I would need to see another doctor. During the visit, I was told that my son had cavities in four teeth and that they could be filled immediately. Since we already have a regular dentist, I declined and decided not to proceed with any treatment. Then I was surprised that the consultation shifted toward a routine dental cleaning and fluoride treatment. I declined because those treatments were not the reason for my visit. I was then referred to another doctor and was told I would either need to wait about a week for an appointment or remain at the clinic for another 30 minutes in the hope of being seen. Since I had already paid and did not want to make another trip, I chose to wait. Finally, I was also disappointed with the reception experience. Throughout our visit, I felt that the staff seemed visibly irritated by my children’s normal behavior, which made us feel unwelcome. After the general dentist referred us to the airway specialist, I tried to see if there was any possibility of being accommodated sooner rather than waiting another week. Instead of feeling supported, I felt that my request was met with visible frustration and reluctance to help. Overall, I did not find the reception team particularly welcoming or patient-focused, which added to the overall frustration of an already disappointing experience. To make matters more confusing, later that day our regular dentist carefully examined my son and advised that he could not find any cavities!! I hope this feedback helps improve communication with patients, appointment scheduling, and the overall customer experience.

I had Invisalign with Dr Chris and composite veneers with Dr Jay, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. Dr Chris completely calmed my nerves about visiting the dentist. She’s so kind, reassuring, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping me achieve the best smile. Dr Jay was equally amazing. He really listened to my vision and created the perfect smile for me. Throughout the process he made me feel so comfortable, constantly reassuring me and making sure I felt confident in every decision. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to enhance their smile. I genuinely wouldn’t go to anyone else in Dubai!
