I just have to say how thoroughly impressed and grateful I am for the team and especially Brianna Koym, PA. I was fit in quickly, and had an in office procedure that has literally saved me from my scheduled surgery, requiring general anesthesia, hospital and THOUSANDS in medical bills. The professionalism and care is refreshing. Not many doctors offices have the front office staff that go above and beyond. And PA Brianna was magnificent in her skill and compassion knowing I was nervous being cut on. I have heard great thing about Dr. Chang and so we feel relieved finding our new dermatologist. Thank you all!
Straight up walked out after waiting nearly an hour & a half to see a dermatologist without a dermatologist greeting me at all. An hour in the back then moved to another different room to wait again. They don't respect my time like I have 3 hours to spend on them. Screw em. I made an appointment in advance. The least they can do is show up to the agreed upon appointment. Who can't make it to work by 10am? This is a society of quick fast service. Houston has 30 thousand other dermatologist offices to choose from, this isn't a one horse, one doctor town. Respect your customers/patients or lose them.
This place is horrible. 30+ minute wait time every time you go for an appointment even if you’re the first one of the day. They are completely disrespectful of your time. They won’t tell you when your prescriptions are going to run out, will refuse to refill them until you can get another appointment that’s usually 2+ months and they just expect you to go without medications in that time. It’s impossible to reach them, I can never reach an actual person you have to leave messages and they won’t reach back out to you for weeks even in emergencies. Worst place ever don’t bother there is 0 communication they do not care about you.
I’ve had a very frustrating experience with this doctor’s office. It is nearly impossible to speak with an actual person when you call, you are always directed to voicemail and expected to leave a message, then just hope someone calls you back.
I called multiple times over the course of a month, leaving several messages before I finally received a callback. For anyone who works nights or has a busy daytime schedule, this turns into endless phone tag and makes communication extremely difficult.
Even now, I still have not been able to properly speak with the team. I left another voicemail a few days ago and, not surprisingly, I have yet to receive a return call.
What’s especially frustrating is that they seem very efficient when it comes to billing my insurance, but not when it comes to responding to patients’ concerns or calls.
I truly hope others do not have to go through the same experience. Communication is such a basic part of patient care, and this office really needs to improve in that area.
This was my first time visiting this place. The building is old but very clean. Love Dr. Chang. After going to Advanced Dermatology for years this was a nice change. She listened and actually did something about a problem I’d had for years. I’ve already booked my next yearly appt. She’s busy and for a new patient I had to make my first appt months in advance.
Dr. Chang is probably the coolest dermatologist I’ve been to. She removed a cyst on my face I’ve had for years, didn't feel a thing and was in and out in 30 min. Thank you Dr. Chang and thanks to your team!
Dr. Chang was a partner with Dr. Terry WIlliams. When he retired it was very easy to transition. We, my husband and I have an enormous amount of respect for Dr. Chang. She has a wonderful bedside manner and never rushes you out. She is very good at answering any question and explaining every procedure.
I didnt have to wait long and Dr. Change was friendly, efficient, and yet professional. I was confident that she knew what she was doing and thus felt good when I left her office. Very satisfied with the entire visit.
