My visit today was amazing. 7am staff called to confirm my appointment. I explained I forgot to order my can right away she assisted. I received my ride to and from hospital. The staff at front desk know my name that feels so good and was very attentive
Triage always are polite and patient and just adds to making a great day right before seeing the Dr. you can ask questions they always make sure I show and speak to Dr so I can get updated that Dr can advise me about my concerns.
Now to mention My Dr. Ana Absolutely Amazing Caring great listener Attentive and Supportive
Walks me though options and when I leave I feel great that she cares
So Thxs to Bellevue for having a great staff of service that supports a patient that needs so many services all of this is so important how they speak and treat me
When I went there, the people were very nice, very quick. There was no time that was wasted. Everything happened so quickly every area that I went to it was on time. Everybody was willing to help everybody spoke to where you could understand it. You didn't need no issues. You didn't need extra people to guide you wrong. And the experience was great. It wasn't bad, wasn't like other hospitals where you're waiting for 2 to 3 hours just to see somebody when you're on an appointment, when the appointment says they were even earlier to answer me when I got there early and not late and they were really, really great.
This is absolutely the worst hospital I’ve ever been to in my life! The doctors and nurses have terrible service attitudes and are very uncooperative in communication. Medical efficiency is abysmally low. I was forced to wait for over ten hours. Even when there were no other patients left, we were still made to wait endlessly. No one informed us how long we would have to wait, and patients couldn’t even eat properly. The staff completely ignore patients’ needs, with slow, sluggish and inefficient work. It’s nothing but a waste of money and sheer torture.
All of the staff members I encountered generally had a nice and accommodating demeanor.
The behavioral specialist I met with was patient and methodical.
Appreciated the visit and helps me work through my frustrations and fears of insensitive medical professionals because they were the opposite of what I have experienced in other spaces.with other health professionals.
Thank you, Bellevue Hospital team for a nice and pleasant experience
This time I visited Bellevue hospital because I needed to make sure how I was doing with ITU symptoms. I finished my 2nd treatment and days later I was uncomfortable. Taking good advantage my son went to see his dad, after few trips back and forth I was able to show up. After I was seeing by doctor then nurse, it was okay, that nurse was a male named Marco in E.R., he's 👍 good!. After 2 hours I was starving and feeling dizzy. I asked a volunteer guy for a vending machine, instead he offered me some foods, Another nurse refused that offer, then nurse Marco came in with kindness gave me a sandwich 🥪, .
Diabetes patients should be treated kindly, all patients deserve it but Diabetes patients are more delicated. 1st and 2nd doctors I saw, they were good 👍. But that nurse who refused to assist me, God have mercy on him, people are heart hardened and heartless.
Now for that nurse Marco, I wish all blessings 🙌 🙏 ❤️ , now and always. He should be head of all nurses. His performance was outstanding, it was great, it was excellent, it was good 👍 👏.
Bellevue Hospital is the best, service is great friendly staff, the only thing that needs attention is the farmacy the wait time is 2>3 hours+ need to organize or hire more staff so that everything flows correctly. Besides that I chose Bellevue. Thanks to all the staff for treating me like family when I was there back in February Thanks alot.
Your professional team is very caring and attentive. The term that serves meals are polished and polite; they enjoy their jobs I noticed. They come in with a pleasant "room service" greeting which is fun and upbeat. Areas to improve: the nursing station really lacks decorum. I'm entirely supportive of team cohesion. I was appalled by the amount of noise created (laughter, loud voices, gossip). Often this is when there were scant patients in the ICU or SICU. Regardless my room has a poster that says "Ssh, healing in progress" as I'm sure every room does. But outside of the room that sign is disregarded and ignored. I wonder if any staff member has been a patient to experience this? I would be irate. These are people who should be caring about others any yet I felt ignored and overly concerned about every other patient on the floor. Elderly people are frightened by this. Another problem is the light shines in your eyes and you cannot get any rest. Put some sort of shield over a bed, or offer eye shades. Be creative. Another nurse advised me there would be hourly checks, which did not happen. I had used the restroom since i had mobility, with supervision, no problem. When the RN did not come in an hour, or two hours total had passed, there is no call button and the button on the bed didn't actually work. So I rose and moved to the door (with all the cables attached) and raised my voice to the nearby desk). No one was actually sitting at the visible corner, but came from around a wall. I was reprimanded for this not being safe and i shouldnt be up in a very non-caring, condescending manner. I'm an adult; I treat others with respect and would expect the same in return. First, what wasn't safe is that I was left unattended for two plus hours without being checked on, so that was, in my opinion, hypocritical of the RN to say I wasn't being safe. Rather, to be without a mode to communicate with anyone from the my room is my primary concern and more of a violation of my own safety. Secondly, I had previously been up and mobile with the day RN, and for this nurse to chide me for attempting some sort of assistance also violates ones safety consciousness while in a hospital. It's really just common courtesy that was lost there. I'm not looking for a best friend nor to create drama while I'm in a hospital. It wasn't my choice to be injured. But i would expect my care provider, my care giver, to be that. CARING.
So there are high marks and low marks. There are some great practitioners and then there are those who are perceived as going through the motions while missing the important part their job: caring. I really wish those who are on the less caring side could be on the receiving end of their own care to feel why I write in this tone.
Dr Gaipa is one of the kindest and most empathetic doctors I’ve met. He evaluated my son for a few things and my son had such a good time with him that he asks to go see him just because now. He’s thoughtful and thorough and I strongly recommend him to any parents with questions about their child’s development.
