I had such a wonderful experience here from nurses, to doctors, physical therapists and the staff running the joint replacement division of the hospital. Specifically, Brenda, has been amazing both pre and post op. She was extremely helpful in answering questions, organizing all my tests, getting me set up on the financial side and has continued to reach out post op. In short, she is AMAZING at her job. Would definitely recommend anyone to go here for any joint replacement surgery needed.

From the moment I walked in the door of the hospital, I encountered friendly and helpful staff. The pre-op check in process went smoothly and upon arrival in the pre-surgery room I was promptly tended to my staff obviously well qualified in their field and in patient relations. The post-op staff were very helpful and oriented me on things I could and could not do during the recovery process. My procedure was successful and I recommend Methodist Hospital Northeast without hesitation.

Having visited this hospital 3 times in April 2 out of the 3 visits were pleasant. The 2nd visit wasn’t the best experience, I felt the CDU pm nurse did not belong as a patient caregiver, he was not very attentive in my care or issues I had questions on. The other visits were pleasant, the nursing staff excellent in the care provided and very education and knowledgeable. I was able to speak with a staff member of my issues with the 2nd visit.

Hi, I was on the fifth floor and I was treated for anemia. The nurses, Janell (morning) and Justin (night) were truly so amazing. They helped soothe my anxiety being so young. I’m so blessed to have had such compassionate people. I have made it clear if anything were to happen i’d want to be in this hospital!

The young lady in the admitting office was quick, helpful, and courteous throughout the process. I had my surgery in the adjoining building, they refer to it as the Plaza. Everyone in that building, whether I was their patient or not, were extremely friendly, courteous, and professional. They put me at ease before my procedure. Dr Harrell and his staff were awesome. They cared for me from beginning to my release. If you need general sugery, I highly recommend Dr. R. Harrell.

Pure neglect and malpractice. My husband was admitted for acute kidney failure and a planned kidney biopsy after we cut an international trip short on his doctors’ advice. What we walked into was dangerous disorganization and zero ownership of his care. The hospital was filthy and unsafe: dirty floors, dried blood on the floors and ER tray where they drew his labs, medication bottles on the floor, and even basic things like the overhead lights and TV remotes didn’t work properly. Wish I would have taken more photos. He was there for kidney failure and a biopsy. An inflamed appendix was found incidentally, and the admitting doctor clearly said they did NOT want to operate because of his kidney function and would use antibiotics instead. The next morning, surgical staff twice came in to take him for an appendectomy he had never consented to and was not admitted for, and someone even tried to discharge him as if he’d been hospitalized for appendicitis. Every day a new nurse came in with no real understanding of his case, restrictions, or plan. We got generic advice that might be fine for a healthy person but was completely inappropriate for his situation. Doctors openly contradicted each other at the bedside: one said he could still have a biopsy with high blood pressure, while his nephrologist said absolutely not because of the bleeding risk. Basic care was mishandled. He was kept NPO multiple times for procedures that never happened, left for hours without food even after being told there would be no biopsy that day, and then served a high-sodium processed meal despite being on a renal, low-sodium diet. The biopsy itself was repeatedly mishandled. One day he was taken down for the biopsy and sent back because his blood pressure was elevated. No one attempted to treat or recheck it; the procedure was simply cancelled. On another day, his scheduled biopsy window was approaching and he still had NOT been given his ordered blood pressure medication. We called repeatedly asking for his meds over an hour, knowing he had to be controlled for the procedure. The scheduled biopsy time came and went, radiology even came back to get him, and he still had not received the medication. He wasn’t even marked NPO that day - staff tried to serve him food the morning of the biopsy, and his nurse told us she “didn’t think” he had to be NPO for a kidney biopsy, which is simply wrong. Only after we escalated, called the nephrologist directly, and made it clear this was unacceptable did anyone move. The only competent part of this stay was his nephrologist, who is not employed by the hospital. He was visibly angry when he heard what had happened, told us there was no medical reason for my husband to have been hospitalized as long as he was, and personally discharged him so the biopsy could be done safely elsewhere. We left with no biopsy, no clear plan, and the clear reality that his care in this hospital was unsafe. If we hadn’t constantly intervened and questioned everything, even more could have gone wrong. I would not trust this hospital and would urge anyone to think very carefully before coming here.

I was admitted here on Friday 23.2026 into the ICU.ive had the best Dr's. Nurses and don't let me forget the best food of any hospital.i would more stars if I could..Several nurses and all the charge nurses have went over and above. I came here and the total opposite. They will make fun of you .push your buttons. Argue with you about what you need like a urine text for a infection or mri dur to other issues instead of contacting the Dr first.were did the care.cincern and welfare of the patient go wrong..Let me Add this a young lady name Meredith Harrison takes the cake on one of the utmost kind and caring ppl I've ever met and she's the only one that came in l Ast evening and around 6 pm tonight and showed me the care and concern I was treated with in ICU. She's a beautiful lady with a beautiful soul and she's a patient tech..but she's a angel in my eyes because she's not my tech but she came to help like everyone of them should of done ..I asked her to please go back to school to be a nurse and possibly more..Ms Meredith has qualities that even the best of the the best nurses and Dr's don't have. GOD PLEASE LET ME HAVE A BETTER EXPERIENCE TONIGHT. ALL I WANT IS TO BE TREATED LIKE A HUMAN WITH KINDNESS .CARE AND CONCERN. What a great Hospital and Staff! From the time I got there until I left, everyone was so kind and compassionate and knowledgeable and thorough and friendly. The Doctors and Nurses and Technicians and Physical Therapists. It was so comforting while I was there to know everyone really cared about me. And, even the food was great too! I am so appreciative and thankful to all of you!
