I have had a history of abnormal moles, some which have required stitches, and I went in wanting a full skin check. I choose Dr. Altman due to his qualifications and reviews. I was worried coming in that I would just be brushed off and ignored due to a previous negative experience. But I went in anyway to give it a chance. I stated during the appointment that I had moles of concern. I was glanced at briefly and told that I was fine and that I could come in every other year. I have some osteopathic and skin check knowledge and I know I was not looked over as thoroughly as I should have been. Especially by a board certified dermatologist as he emphasized to me during the appointment for some reason. He went on and on about how I didn’t have melanoma and I can tell life insurance that I haven’t. I never said I did or ask about melanoma, nor did I mention life insurance. And then he told me I’m young. Like I can’t have skin issues because I am young? I don’t understand why my age was a factor at all in this, especially given my past medical history. He spent more time telling me I had dandruff than focusing on my primary concern. I was completely brushed off and the appointment was a complete waste of time. And what’s even more irritating is I struggled to get an appointment that worked with my work schedule. I am seriously considering never returning and would never recommend this practice. Very disappointing. I probably will just get a reply about them being sorry to hear about my negative experience and nothing further will be done to address this complaint.
TLDR: appointment was a complete waste of time. Do not choose this practice
Dr. Benjamin Gier, PA-C is highly skiiled professional and has pleasant personality. He spent significant time with me and explained my concerns in details. He provided excellent job and answered all questions during my appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Benjamin Gier to all patients with different skin issues. The nurses and reception desk personnel are very knowledgeable and nice.

We went there for my 12 year old son. Dr. Mandrea was wonderful and so was his nurse, Christina. They were so good with my son and patient as they needed to get a biopsy and he doesn’t like needles. So you can imagine how that went. But I appreciate their kindness and gentleness to help him through it. Highly recommend this office!

I also appreciated that she worked thoughtfully within my insurance coverage to provide the best care possible. I left feeling confident in her expertise, and I will gladly return. Doctor Benjamin is really great. Very seamless scheduling and check in process upon sucks. Clean office and very nice efficient staff. The doctor was excellent. Very kind personable and really took the to explain bringing to me and made sure all my questions were answered. I’m so happy I found this office.

Great experience here! Easily made an appointment and got in quickly. It is a beautiful clinic. The staff are so nice and make you feel comfortable immediately. Dr. Quirke was fast, efficient, and knowledgeable, while also being warm and comforting. I would definitely recommend coming here!
