First and last time here. I would leave no stars if I could. From the beginning I walked in and a lady with her husband and kids walked out saying the Dr. was being rude. We checked in and waited in an empty room while the Dr was walking back and forth giving my family disturbing looks. I ignore those signs thinking that may just be her face since she’s an old lady. When she decided to acknowledge us she said one of you come with me (8&9) years old with my paper work all filled out, she didn’t respect they had names. The customer service was extremely unprofessional. I felt extremely discriminated against for a reason which may be my ethnicity.
While starting the eye exam she was having issues directing my children. She seemed irritated and not wanting to do the exam. My kids are well behaved, and could follow instructions but she wasn’t instructing properly. Then she continued to grab my daughter’s head and place it where she wanted her. She made my daughter very uncomfortable and my daughter was bothered by the whole interaction. As my son proceeded to get on the chair I simply stated the machine was too high. That was it for her. She didn’t like my statement and continued to argue back-and-forth with me worse than any child I have ever known. She said that she wasn’t gonna proceed with my son and daughter’s eye care and asked me to leave. I was very upset by the whole situation and the receptionist decided to state her opinion about something. She had no idea of and started arguing with me while I’m walking out the door. I am going to defend my children if they feel uncomfortable the doctor had no right treating us the way she did. I’m reporting this incident to my insurance as well as proper authorities. I hope this can help a family in the future or they can change how they treat future families and children.
We had 3 eye exams done today!! 1 was a returning patient, and the other 2 were new patients. Booking the appointments was easy, as well as checking in and going through the eye exams one by one. I felt that the Dr was very thorough as she took her time looking into the condition of their eyesight, and she worked well with the kiddos. Everyone there seems to enjoy their work, thank you!
My kids & I came here for the first time today & we all had the best eye visit experience ever. The staff works great together and are very patient and helpful. Dr. Maredia was also great, patient and answered all questions too. Super happy to find great eye care near our new home.
Dr Nazia Maredia is absolutely amazing! She knows so much about my illness I've never had anyone let alone a doctor say to me we are going to take this journey together and really mean it she has come through on everything she has said I'm actually improving !!!!! I am so grateful to have such a kind wonderful doctor that has graciously taking her time and actually cares to help me THANK YOU !!
Love this place so much. The ladies in the doctors office are so nice and patient being that i had my babies with me. They made this appointment quick and smooth.
Nextdoor, choosing glasses was also a breeze and my glasses should be ready in a week or less. Thank y’all so much.
We had the most wonderful experience at the Family Eye Care center when I came to help my teen son pick his frames. He’s a special needs child and Miss Wanda made him feel accepted and was very attentive and kind. And so informative!
I enjoyed the experience so much that I asked about the process for a current eye exam for myself. She went straight to walking me through frame options for me too. There were two styles I was torn between and I’ve shared the style name & number in case others love them as much as I did and would like to try them out themselves.
What began as an informative and friendly call with Isabel, led to our wonderful in-store experience with Wanda. We’ll be back again and highly recommend this location!
From the start to the end we had the best customer service experience! I called a local store near my home but the calls were treated as if we were causing a problem to call an make an appointment an kept getting put on hold every attempt I made…… so we decided to go with Vance Jackson location and I glad we did. Thank you for everything!
