I had a really positive experience here. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was welcoming and helpful, which set a great tone for the visit. The woman who conducted my eye exam had such a great attitude, professional, patient, and easy to talk to.
The doctor was thorough, friendly, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I especially appreciated the good sense of humor, which made the whole appointment feel relaxed and comfortable.
Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience. I’d definitely recommend this office.
Excellent service. I was able to make a same day appointment. Doctor is every experienced in his field and has a broad medical training. He is quick and precise. This was my first time. The office is on the first floor. Very clean and orderly. He offers referrals to other doctors if needed. I do recommend this specialist doctor.
I was very pleased with the service I received from Dr. Ellant. And some of the medical assistants I met with are helpful and knowledgeable. However, on-the-whole the office is poorly run. I waited 2 hours for my first appointment. The waiting room was full, the desk staff were uniforming, and uninvolved, and the restroom had no toilet paper -- this happened during several visits.
OUTSTANDING as usual. Dr Wigham and the entire staff are excellent. Their knowledge, kindness and time taken during a visit is always super professional/expert and extremely human. Plus their suite of diagnostic tools is vast and cutting edge. Which magnifies their expertise and intuition. 10 stars. Trust your precious eyesight to these great people.
After years of trying a different one each year, I finally found an opthalmologist! Dr. Whigham is dedicated to his patients, practical, and thorough. He cares. Even though they don't do contact fittings, he answered my questions and printed my rx to save me a separate visit to a different eye doctor. I wasn't making changes anyway. This was very considerate. He has great bedside manner too. Thank you!
Dr Furey is nice and respectful, however office is clearly overbooking patients. Wait area was full, everyone seemed to be waiting about as long as I was (70 min wait). I could sense the Dr overwhelmed which made me feel like a burden. Front desk staff not very professional, knocked on my door twice while I was in the chair (for a visit that took 15 mins) just to tell the doctor that someone else is complaining about the wait time. Considering I also waited a substantial amount of time to be seen , I would like my visit time to be respected. Leaving feeling a bit confused as I didn't have time to ask all my questions. I was recommended by the dr to return in a year, however when I walked back to the front desk the clerk was not very helpful.
My mom had eye surgeries on both eyes with Dr. Furey. She is professional with good manners. I highly recommend her. Appointments are quick and thorough. Office is clean and pleasant. Best Doctor !!!
