Three different members of our family have been patients of Dr. M. Nejat for at least 20 years. He has cared for my husband, myself and our son (since he was in his teens). We are very pleased & satisfied with the treatment we have received, in the past & continue to receive, to this day. We couldn’t imagine going to any other ophthalmologist. We like his expertise & his personality. He is extremely well educated, friendly, caring, personable & dedicated to his patients well-being!
I always find Dr. Nejat to be so professional while taking the time to answer all your questions and concerns. He makes you feel like he knows you for many years which is not the norm in my experience with other doctors.

I visited Dr. Nejat for the first time on June 22, 2026 after hearing rave reviews from others. He did not disappoint. His team were attentive and thorough. He required testing to check angles in my eyes to allow for refraction. He came in afterwards and examined my eyes and discussed my condition. He was thorough. I found him friendly yet professional. I have been seeing Dr.Nejat for several years and have been extremely satisfied with his treatment and the office staff. It is encouraging to see a doctor’s office that works like a well oiled machine. Having worked for doctors for over 25 years and having been self employed for over 17, I understand how difficult this can be. The routine checking in and subsequent testing went smoothly and quickly. A special “ thank you” to Jackie who did a wonderful and thorough eye examination prior to seeing the doctor. Upon seeing the doctor I was greeted pleasantly as he proceeded with further testing and examination and explanation. As I finished after scheduling next year’s check up I found the staff pleasant and accommodating. Always professional, I am happy to have Dr.Najet and the Victory Boulevard office as my eye specialist.

Happens to be the best cataract surgeon on Staten Island and the best eye surgeon in general. I love Him very much. He’s my main personal doctor now and he’s the best.
