I had a great experience with iGP today. I saw Bethan at the Cardiff Gate clinic, and she was friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. She took the time to listen carefully to my medical history and the reason for my visit, making me feel heard and understood.
Bethan explained everything clearly and provided valuable advice on nutrition and lifestyle changes. I especially appreciated that she shared some of the approaches that have worked well for her personally, which made the advice feel even more relatable and practical.

Concept: I was diagnosed by Tesco Pharmacy with a fungal infection close to privates. The pharmacy prescribed me a clotrimazole cream. I started on 07/07/2026. However, since on 19/07/2026 I will go to Greece for beach holidays, my skin health should be perfect and not ... six (6) seven (7). I could visit my GP but I might have to wait for treatment after my holidays. Thus, on 09/07/2026 after work, I booked an appointment with IGP. I have visited IGP in the past for COVID test before travelling and for another health issue I had in 2022.
Date/Time of initial consultation: Saturday 11/07/2026, 13:00-13:30.
Price: £139 + £59 for liver blood test.
Doctor's name: Dr Nader Genedy.
Experience: All staff were very polite and made me to feel at ease. Nader assessed my case thoroughly and helped me also with an eczema in right elbow. Face masks were available for patients. I had technology issues to fill in the consent questionnaire but I'm glad everything was sorted when I arrived.
From the moment my husband and I arrived at iGP Carmarthen, until we left, we felt very valued and cared for. The staff were all very welcoming and made sure we knew exactly what the process would be, and what to expect. There was also parking available which made the appointment all the more easy and relaxing.
We received our results a week later by email in the form of a report, which was extremely comprehensive and informative.
From this we identified areas of our health that we needed to address, and acted upon these straight away.
We felt that the money for the Standard + Screen blood test was excellent value for money as neither of us was aware of the issues that it identified, as we felt very fit and healthy, which showed that you cannot rely on your body to tell you how it feels! It covered a large range of possible conditions which suited our current needs perfectly.
We now feel that we have been able to take control of our health, and seek the appropriate support and medication for our conditions.
We were also very impressed at the extensive range of services and tests offered, and would not hesitate to return in the future should we require any of the services and tests.
It has been so nice and reassuring to be able to seek and receive the appropriate professional so quickly and efficiently.
Would highly recommend iGP, and plan on sharing our excellent experience with all our family and friends to encourage them to do the same as us!

I got an appointment the day after calling. Its everything you want in a gp practice. The surgery is clean and well organised. The receptionist is friendly and so helpful. The GP was methodical, unrushed, and very informative. The nurse was professional, gentle, and relaxed. I didn't know that people in the medical world could smile until I went to IGP.
I left with the feeling that I'd had the best service anyone could provide.

I brought my partner in as we’d been struggling to get him an NHS appointment for weeks. The service provided was top level and Joanna really took the time to try and understand all possible reasons for the situation he found himself in. The staff were friendly and well mannered and it felt absolutely comfortable from the moment we walked in. I would absolutely use their services again in a time of need.

The medical service I received was good, but I was disappointed by the level of professionalism and care regarding the clinical environment. When I was called into the room for my appointment, it was not fully prepared, and there was a coffee mug in the sink intended for hand washing, which made me question the hygiene standards. Additionally, there were no curtains around the examination bed, which made me feel exposed and uncomfortable when changing clothes for the examination.
