I had two knee replacements done by dr Biggs and his team-one in February and one in April! I shouldn't have waited so long!
Throughout the process, I felt so well taken care of!
After checking out several doctors, I decided to go with Dr Biggs. I liked his use of pain blockers and using no opioids.
The surgical team was top notch!! Nurses, doctor and anesthesiologist were a great team and I was informed of everything that was going to happen along the way.
What a surprise upon recovery that I felt great snd was able to walk to the bathroom snd around the nurses station soon after. Within 6-8 hours from entering the hospital, I was on my way home!
I really appreciated the PT home care for 2weeks after the surgeries! So comforting to see nurses and do PT at home. They saw my pain and progress and were always so encouraging!
I signed up for the text messages that guided me through recovery from going home to 6 weeks post op. Very helpful to learn what to expect at the different stages snd you could even ask questions and get responses.
I also used the guide book given as part of the concierge package. That book gave you day by day instructions, what to expect, PT exercises, steps to take and lots more information! My suggestion would be to get the book upon deciding to get knee surgery.
It would help with decision making progress and give you ideas on questions to ask the doctor.
I went with the concierge service. It had everything you needed to get through the surgery and recovery. My suggestion for the package is that I wished some things were optional. For example, I have an Apple Watch and did not need the Fitbit watch.
Overall, Dr Biggs is a wonderful surgeon and cares about his patients! You will be in great hands if you go with him!

You're really guided every step of the way in recovery and don't feel like you are alone .

I went to numerous ortho doctors in Naples and none were as kind and as accommodating as Dr. Biggs. I talked to hospital nurses and found that several others have a high infection rate. Did not want that!! This is the place you want to visit. You will receive regular updates from the doctor as to what you may be experiencing for 6 weeks. Those are very informative and comforting - to know that you are really ok. Then the post surgery visits and PT at his office building are demanding but necessary. I owe my current mobility to Dr. Biggs and his fabulous staff. Amazing.
