I have had the opportunity to be treated at Collier Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. I had a pain for a couple of months and then decided to be seeing by Dr Brett A. Wilhoit, M.D. He was able to identify my issue and proposed different recommendations, with pros and cons. I'm glad I followed his recommendation for surgery, as my recovery has been great. The team that has treated me, James J. Guerra, MD, FAAOS and Colin Blanco, PA are among the best doctors I have had. Their kindness, clarity and transparency were key for me to feel confident in the whole process. And all the staff at Collier Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center are among the best in customer service and kindness. This is a great team that will take care of you from beginning to end!
I had my two-week follow-up appointment today at Collier Sports Medicine with Colin Blanco after my knee replacement surgery. It was great to see him again, especially since I’d already met him before my surgery. Colin walked me through the surgical procedure in great detail, answering all my questions. I was a bit nervous about the surgery at first, but talking to Colin really gave me a lot of confidence in how well I’d be taken care of. The two-week follow-up was wonderful, and I didn’t have any pain afterward. Colin’s friendly nature and easygoing attitude made everything so smooth.
Dr. Wilhoit has a rare combination of clinical expertise, excellent communication, and a genuinely comforting presence. As I’ve navigated a challenging case of rheumatoid arthritis, he has consistently provided accurate diagnoses, effective treatment, and clear explanations. His care has played an important role in helping me stay active and maintain a high quality of life. I am very grateful for his help and highly recommend him!
Great experience with Colin Blanco today. He is very pleasant, professional and thorough. Took his time and listened to me, completed his own examination and developed a plan to move forward that I am very happy with! Highly recommend Colin and Dr Guerra!
I had rather extensive surgery to my left shoulder and the care been phenomenal. All the staff at the doctors office at the physical therapy and at the surgery center are amazing. I truly appreciate their kindness and their expertise.
Dr Wilhoit was excellent. He carefully listened to my medical concerns, discussed them at length, and and gave me some very sound and reasoned advice on how to treat them. I was very comfortable with his treatment plan. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking orthopedic assistance.
The staff was courteous, professional, and efficient throughout the entire visit. Dr. Guerra was exceptional — he carefully reviewed my imaging, took the time to explain his findings thoroughly, and provided thoughtful recommendations. I especially valued his perspective on what he would advise if I were a member of his own family. I felt well cared for and confident in the treatment plan. I am sincerely grateful for the high level of care I received.
Dr Wilhoit spent a lot of time with me and explained everything numerous times. He was kind, sympathetic and very caring. Left there feeling, I had the best care and knowledge ever!!! I would Recommend him very highly!!
