⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Surgeon who truly changes Lives
I am now 6 weeks post-operation and had my follow-up appointment today.
I truly cannot express enough gratitude for my surgeon, Dr Vioreanu ❤️
From the very beginning, he was professional, compassionate, and incredibly reassuring.
The outcome of my surgery has exceeded my expectations, and I genuinely believe I would not have achieved these results without his expertise and dedication.
My recovery is progressing beautifully, and the outcome so far has exceeded my expectations. His attention to detail, surgical skill, and commitment to achieving the best possible result are truly second to none.
I feel incredibly blessed to have found him. If you are considering knee surgery, I cannot recommend him highly enough. He quite literally gave me my quality of life back.

Had a partial knee replacement last year with Dr Vioreanu. From my frist meeting with Mihai, everything was explained in careful detail about the operation and the recovery. What was very noticeable after the meeting and date for operation was every aspect of the meeting was written carefully and sent to my GP and myself. Another big plus was the amazing staff whom work along Dr Vioreanu. All who I met and all very professional and helpful. In the end the operation was huge success and all the after care ran smoothly. I had a knee issue for some time and my physio recommended Dr Mihai to imvestigate the issue.
Dr Mihai listened to my explanation of movements, sensations and aggrvations. With this info and scans, Dr Mihai explained the scenario simply and I left the consultation very confident the issue would be resolved.
My procedure was also booked at a time that suited my schedule, which was a major benefit in regards to the time for recovery.
10 weeks post op now and I am extremely happy with the outcome.
From first consultation, to procedure and follow up, I could not recommend Dr Mihai and his extremely professional team enough.

Mr Mihai Vioreanu is an excellent surgeon who I would highly recommend. I had a total left knee replacement on Friday and was walking on crutches by Saturday. My pain is managed very well with meds and ice and I’m well on way to recovery. My treatment by all staff and especially Mr Vioreanu at the UPMC/SSC has been brilliant and I’m recovering very well at home under the care of his team who have been in contact regarding physio and aftercare wound treatments.
I was referred to Mr. Mihai Vioreanu by my GP after months of pain and discomfort in my knees due to osteoarthritis. I was unable to do any of the things I loved and was just about getting from a to b. It was very upsetting and the pain was getting me down.
When I visited Mihai, he took the time to listen and understand the challenges I was dealing with. He is very kind and empathetic in manner and highly skilled and experienced professionally. Mihai shared and explained the x rays and images with me in a way that I could understand them and he included me in the decision making. I never felt rushed by him and this helped to build trust and confidence. Mihai did not recommended surgery in my case and favored conservative treatment. Over a matter of weeks Mihai and is wonderful team had me back moving well again.
Mihai gave me excellent advice about rehabilitation and exercise explaining options that would support my knee as well as what might aggravate it. With his help and guidance, I am now managing the knee pain very successfully. An injection administered by Mihai has allowed me to access Pilates which is helping to build strength around the knee in order to scaffold the joint and further reduce pain. Considering that I was barely walking a few weeks ago, the progress is astounding.
The service I received from Mihai and his team was second to none. Emails were answered in a matter of minutes and I received follow up phone calls to provide further advice. The level of care provided by Mihai and his team surpassed all of my expectations. Mihai was also mindful that I was traveling from north Donegal and he made every effort to ensure that I would not have to make multiple visits to Santry.
I feel utterly blessed that I was referred to Mihai. He is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon with global experience and his interpersonal skills are second to none. With his help, I have avoided surgery and I have minimal pain. I cannot recommend Mihai highly enough.
Mihai fixed a 20 year knee problem for me with an ITB release in 2020,
Iam 5 years post op with no complaints to speak of, just high praise for a skillful job from a gifted individual. I Have recommended colleagues who also agree with the level of care and professionalism received.
I had a consultation on February 13th and the where do I start.
1. Appointment for the 27th and got a cancellation, very quick service.
2. Staff were extremely efficient, polite and professional.
3. Mr Vioreanu explained everything to me in non medical terms so easy to understand.
4. Delighted that I didn't need surgery and more importantly Mr Vioreanu emphasised that surgery is the last resort.
5. Fluids drained and had injections there and then and gentle would be an understatement.
All in all I would highly recommend this consultant. The entire process was a pleasure and I want to extend my gratitude to all of the team there.
Incredible clinic in every aspect but Mihai Vioreanu is fantastic in everything he does from start to finish. Unlike other Specialists he is very personable, friendly and really cares about his patients. He is the most down-to-earth Professional I have ever encountered. I would highly recommend Mihai and the entire team at the SSC. My only regret is that I can't give more than 5 Stars.
