I canf recommend this place enough. I would give it six stars. Just really great personal service. Id send my 95 yr old granny. Id send my 9 yr old niece. Medical Optics know their stuff & provide a great service. This represents good value!

Excellent customer service. Despite arriving at lunchtime without an appointment the receptionist and optician made time during their lunch hour to realign the nose pad of my glasses. The optician also tightened the arms and cleaned the lenses. First rate customer service, above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks again

Absolutely fantastic experience. I had an eye test carried out by Linda, who was so knowledgeable in her field and very clear in explaining the anatomy of the eye and the tests she was doing. It was so thorough and I will definitely return again. It was far better than my previous Specsacers experiences.

I wanted to leave this review specifically about the one staff member who goes above and beyond. Patricia has been taking care of my boys’ glasses for the past year. She’s the most patient person and absolutely lovely with kids; ensuring they have a good experience there. I observed her once helping an elderly gentleman who just couldn’t make up his mind about his glasses and she was so unbelievable kind and understanding, it really impressed me. You can tell she loves her job.

This is my second visit to this practice, on a referral from a previous Consultant. I found all staff to be very friendly, helpful and professional. My appointments with Dr Max Treacy were a pleasure; his knowledge, professionalism and easy manner helped me greatly to better understand the issue I was referred for and saved me any further worry.

I am in my 60's and have worn glasses most of my life. Last year I found that despite eye tests and new glasses my sight was deteriorating slightly. After visits to opticians and front of eye specialists I was referred to Mr. Max Treacy at Medical Optics. He diagnosed the issue and suggested the solution. He outlined the risks and the procedures involved and the further actions that would be required should everything not go according to plan. He answered all my questions in a easily understood manner and was professional and courteous throughout. He carried out an EPM procedure and subsequently two cataract procedures and thankfully all were successful. His aftercare was brilliant and he made himself available to consult with if I was concerned that the recovery wasn't going to plan. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team for assessment and treatment of eye problems.

I wish I had checked reviews before booking an appointment. That said, I like their frames. I also found the front of house/reception staff rude and unpleasant. I don't think that the problem lies with them as they are okay after a while. However, this ruins what would otherwise be a very good ophthalmic experience. Result is that I rushed in making my choice of frames to get out of the place.
