I’m about 1 week post laser eye surgery, and I can’t recommend it enough. I love water sports like kitesurfing and wearing contact lenses was inconvenient - especially when you lose one the water! 😅 Before I went to Prof. Power I had a consultation at another well known laser eye clinic, but felt it was impersonal and it was and in an out service with no follow ups after! (It’s an expensive procedure and it’s nice to be looked after with it) When I went to Prof Power for the consultation I immediately felt more relaxed. All the staff were so nice and friendly including Prof. Power himself. I felt like I was definitely being well looked after and was informed well about the surgery. The surgery itself is actually a cool experience. For anyone who’s worried about it, don’t be! You get the option of a Valium before which definitely helps and the whole procedure is painless, and you’re also well looked after throughout! The recover is fast - and the next day when you wake up it’s amazing how clearly you can see!! I couldn’t recommend Professor Power and his team enough!
I had LASIK eye surgery with Professor Billy Power the day before yesterday and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the result. Initially, I didn’t think I would even be eligible for the procedure as I am in the 50+ age category, but I was delighted to find that it was possible — and it has worked so well.
The procedure itself was incredibly quick and completely painless. The laser part is less than 30 seconds. Although I felt anxious beforehand, there really was no need to be. Professor Power reassured me every step of the way, explaining everything clearly and calmly, which made a huge difference. The administration staff at his office are also very helpful and always call back if you have any questions or need information.
I have met with Professor Power twice now since the procedure, and each follow-up gave me great reassurance that everything was progressing exactly as it should. His professionalism, care, and attention throughout the whole process was outstanding.
I would highly recommend Professor Billy Power to anyone considering LASIK, especially if you’re unsure about eligibility or feeling nervous — you will be in very safe hands

I’m a woman in my mid forties and just had laser eye surgery from Dr. Power. I’m absolutely thrilled with the outcome. I am short sighted, was wearing contact lenses daily, damaging my eyes and was getting to the point of needing reading glasses on top! I’m so delighted with my now better than 20/20 vision and the results are so rapid. Whilst I wish I had done it years ago I’m absolutely delighted to have gotten there now with plenty more years of perfect vision hassle free from contact lenses to look forward to. I may still need reading glasses in time but at least I’ve no more lenses or dealing with bifocals!!
I’m very claustrophobic and Dr Power was so reassuring throughout the whole procedure I felt at ease. Couldn’t recommend doing this more for people of the same age. Stop putting it off and go for it!!
I got laser eye surgery from Professor Power yesterday and it is already absolutely life changing. Only a few weeks ago I enquired and I’m already finished and don’t need glasses hopefully for a long long time. I’m only 22 so this is absolutely huge for me as I’ve worn glasses my entire life. Professor Power and all other staff involved were super cordial, informative and helpful. During my procedure I felt safe and well taken care of by the amazing team of surgeons present. I can’t thank each and every one of the staff enough! Would absolutely 100% highly recommend
Went in for laser eye surgery and came out with better vision than I’ve had in years. Turns out I had an astigmatism he took care of at the same time. Professional, reassuring, and clearly excellent at what he does. Couldn’t recommend Dr Power and his whole team more highly.
I am 12 months post op and am totally delighted with the results of the Lens Replacement procedure with Prof Power and his team. Incredible difference for me and am happy every day that I decided to have this done. If you are thinking of any eye procedure , the most important thing is the surgeon and Prof Power is superb. From start to finish and post op, it’s professional, meticulous and personal service. Could not recommend highly enough!!
