I visited the Laya Healthcare Clinic in Limerick for the first time today, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.
The receptionist was so welcoming, and the member of staff who looked after me was incredibly helpful. She took the time to explain everything clearly and even helped me complete the necessary forms.
The doctor and nurses were all absolutely lovely. They listened carefully to my concerns, answered every question I had, and made me feel completely at ease throughout my visit.
There’s also plenty of parking available, which makes the clinic very convenient to access.
Overall, it was an extremely positive experience. Well done to Laya for providing such a professional, caring, and patient-focused service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the clinic to others.
My father attended Laya with an injured ankle. He was x-rayed and told that he had a minor fracture and needed a boot. Despite bad swelling and consistent pain, the doctors in Laya told him they were not worried about his ankle and to just continue wearing the boot. When he attended again in horrible pain, one doctor spoke down to him telling him it was a minor injury and that he should really listen to the orthopaedic surgeon that he was dealing with. Overall, he went to Laya three times with pain and extreme swelling and was dismissed every time. On the last visit, the doctor asked him if he had gout. My father then went away himself to get an ultrasound scan privately where he was told that the ligament in his ankle had snapped off the bone and taken some bone with it. The specialist said he felt so sorry for my dad and with the way he was treated. 6 weeks being told to just stay in a boot and being completely dismissed by these supposed “professionals”. Absolute disgrace.
Went with my Daughter 3.5 years old €75 later the nurse was better than the doctor. Should just have waited a day and go to our local doctor. Would not go back.
Excellent new urgent care / Energency clinic on the Ennis road. State of the art modern centre with highly trained ED docs and nurses.. No queue as in a hospital ED
The worst clinic you could possibly go to. Doctor told me I'd be fine by Monday, I wasn't. Ended up getting referred to a consultant who asked me what he wanted from him. I'd would've been better burning my 100 euro
Just called Limerick Clinic to see if they would remove stitches from a knee operation. Told to go back to Dublin where I had the operation. Guess where I won’t be getting my health insurance next time.
5 months ago I went in for a check on my spine after a nasty fall . Hopefully to receive an X-ray . After some questioning from the female doctor she concluded that it was only muscular and not needing an x ray. After being given some meds and told that a week or two off work I would be back to normal. Once returning to work it would only take a day for the pain to return damaging my back more.
After going to the larger hospital in Limerick and taking an x ray I found that I had a compression in myT11.
Today I am still in pain and if I received that x ray at laya healthcare that I needed my circumstances might be better.
Shane on you laya healthcare and then charging such a large amount , I am still waiting for my refund after multiple letters.
