I would like to sincerely thank my surgeon, Mr. Cassidy & his team, Anaesthetist Dr.Hugh O’Callaghan & his team, the nurses, and all the staff for the wonderful care I received during my recent open shoulder surgery on the 23/04/26. Everyone was so professional, kind, and reassuring, which made a big difference during a stressful time. I’m truly grateful for the excellent treatment and support I received. Thank you all so much.🙏🏻
P.S I also experienced the same great care in 2022 after my TKR.

First time having to have anything done for me in Croom hospital. Minor surgery New Year’s Eve and excellent experience from start to finish. Such friendly staff from nurses to porters to operating theatre staff to surgeon and consultant. Makes things so much easier when dealing with such great staff. Thank you all 🙏
Had surgery. On foot.Got 2 slice toast .woke up many during the nite.next morning rice crisp for breakfast. They said u are not strong enough to go home. Well I was out of there . Rude. They wanted me to walk on crutches up down a stairs. Go to the toilet in a pan .not gud enough. Some staff were nice but won't be back.
Was in for pain management for an old back injury and scoliosis. From reception to consultation the staff were fantastic. I don't know the names of everyone I met but they were all friendly it was such a a lovely calm environment. A huge thank you to Roisin, I appreciated being listened to about the pain I suffer with and the advice moving forward. And a special thanks to the wonderful lady who showed me the beautiful chapel on the grounds....a lovely quiet chapel....sometimes it's nice to sit for a few mins to catch your breath somewhere peaceful. Definitely 5 stars from me.
I was in yesterday for arthepoc done on my left knee . From the moment I went in till the moment I left the whole team couldn't have done enough for me fantastic place .just a few names I recall I would like to thank Mr vanderstok for doing it and so professional. Kate Karina Aoife lucy nurses in the day ward thanks to ye all . Fantastic team . Not forgetting . Dr Fitzgerald in the theatre for looking after me down there . Couldn't meet a nicer person absolute lady . If I misses any one m thanks to you all to for everything

The hospital is generally very commendable for its cleanliness and overall quality. Certain staff members are notably courteous; however, others communicate in a manner that is unprofessional and disrespectful. The scheduling of check-up appointments appears to lack efficiency, as patients are often left waiting for considerably longer than their designated appointment times.
