Posting on behalf of my wife who had a laparoscopy and removal of a mirena coil that had perforated. Mr Fakokunde can not be reccomended enough! From listening to his exceptional surgical skill! All staff warm and welcoming, from Beverly on the front desk to all the absolute amazing nurses on the ward. Stacey who did my pre-op was excellent at taking bloods and giving all the information needed from before surgery to what recovery what look like! A very calming sashelle in anaesthetics to the amazing Dikkie, Estelle and Charity on the ward who took amazing care of her, and the lovely Sue and Mary who kept the refreshments flowing always with a cheery attitude. Sacha, Hanna and Claire in the admin team were so helpful getting me booked in and sending me all the information I needed and making the whole process easy. All staff absolutely amazing!
I had a very positive experience at this clinic. Everything was well organised, and all the nurses were kind, professional, and very supportive.
I chose to have my endoscopy without sedation, and Dr Akeel Alisa explained every step of the procedure both before it started and while it was being performed. Knowing exactly what was happening made the whole experience much less stressful and really helped me stay calm throughout.
I felt well looked after from start to finish and would highly recommend both the clinic and Dr Alisa.
I recently had surgery at this hospital. Dr Yoong was so lovely and the hospital staff treated me so well. On the ward Estelle and Dikki were absolutely amazing. I remembered Estelle from the last time I had surgery and she looked after me so well. Yesterday when I had my surgery Dikki was the nurse looking after me and she went above and beyond to ensure I was ok. So was so nice and comforting. I definitely felt safe there and well looked after. All the best to everyone that works there.
I had an MRI scan at Kings Oak Hospital today and wanted to recognise the exceptional care I received from Samia and Eana in the MRI unit.
From the moment I arrived, they were both incredibly welcoming, professional and kind. Having an MRI can be an anxious experience, but Eana took his time to listen to my concerns, explain everything clearly, and help me feel relaxed throughout the scan.
What stood out most was the genuine compassion and human kindness shown by both members of staff. It’s rare to come across people who combine professionalism with such warmth and empathy, and it made a huge difference to my experience.
Thank you, Samia and Eana, for your outstanding care. You are both a credit to Kings Oak Hospital and your kindness did not go unnoticed.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Natalie and Sarah, the nurses, for the exceptional care they gave my son during his surgery. From the very beginning, they were kind, attentive, and incredibly reassuring during what was a stressful time for him.
They both took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure we understood each step and felt comfortable. Their calm and compassionate approach made a huge difference, not only to my son but to us as parents as well. It was clear that they genuinely care about their patients and go above and beyond to provide both medical and emotional support.
I would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Guy Webster, the surgeon, whose skill and professionalism gave us great confidence throughout the entire process. Knowing our son was in such capable hands was incredibly reassuring, and we are deeply grateful for the care and expertise he provided.

Our son had surgery at The Kings Oak Hospital today and was under the care of the Acorn Ward.
Everything from start to finish provided excellent customer service and was really well organised. The communication from the pre-op assessment, between and throughout today's admission was brilliant and we felt everything had been covered fully.
All staff were very friendly, helpful and caring and the Acorn Ward staff couldn't have done any more to make us feel comfortable. They were amazing!
My son had Surgery at the Kings Oak on Tuesday and was on the acorn ward under the care of Natalie and Sarah and the care they provided was amazing.
My son was very poorly following surgery and as a parent I was very worried as to whether what he was experiencing was normal, both Sarah and Natalie spoke in depth about the symptoms and put my mind at ease, but most importantly they were there for absolutely everything for my son. Even with the door closed and my son was vomiting Natalie appeared in an instant to take over and help him. He was so scared and everyone was just wonderful. You can clearly see the team enjoy what they do. He also got a teddy at the end of the day which made him happy.
I received a follow up call today to see how he was…it’s such a brilliantly run service with really nice people! Thank you!!
Came in for an appointment with Dr Kumari who was excellent. Also impressed that the reception staff were able to squeeze me in for same day imaging for an Ultrasound. Highlight of the visit has to be Emmanuel who took my bloods - I have very small veins and he drew it first try, no bruising and was hilarious throughout. Absolutely first rate (honestly I have such issues at private hospitals getting my blood taken but challenge accepted by Emmanuel!) Free parking at KO too which is a nice touch.
Been coming here for various specialist appointments over the years and highly recommend. Never had an issue.
