Dr J Kok was kind, compassionate, and very attentive during my appointment. She took my concerns seriously and arranged appropriate testing that I had previously struggled to access. I really appreciated her professional and caring approach and would highly recommend her.

I’ve had a good experience with The Bush Doctors. The doctors Dr chatoo have been professional, attentive, and willing to take the time to listen to my concerns. The practice offers a range of services and has a multidisciplinary team including GPs, nurses, and pharmacists. Communication has generally been clear, and I have felt well supported with my healthcare needs.
Worst GP regarding individuals that have neurological and mental health issues, the doctor's constantly dismiss your issues and try to downplay and gaslight you if you appear to have more knowledge on your own condition's as GP professionals are becoming less trained in psychological matters regarding patients, and this GP is a modern example of this issue in NHS GP's.
Extremely distressing to repeatedly be told by a mature female doctor that "GP's cannot treat BPD" despite me repeatedly telling the doctor, before her saying this, that I am aware and would like the practice to signpost me to the correct specialist's/departments that do as it's been a recurring battle, the doctor signposted me to a MINT team which a previous doctor had done before, I told the doctor to avoid doing this as the MINT team last year told me that they do not work with individuals with the condition's I have. Not only did she dismiss and ignore me, she has done the same thing which has failed, and still hasn't followed up with a response from that team, this was over a month ago. And this is a current prime example of how not only this GP specifically, but how the NHS treat people with neurological and personality disorders.
Extremely unprofessional and I 100% will be taking the treatment i've received by the doctor's in this practice to the healthcare ombudsman. AVOID if you have mental health or neurological conditions.
Have been registered here for many years and recently had support from the women's health lead. I have been incredibly supported, given sound advice which has delivered successful and impactful results.
The online booking, improvements in the layout of the waiting room and self service check in facility, have all improved the experience.
I have been a patient at this practice for over 15 years. Unfortunately, during this time my experience has often been more negative than positive. I have seen many different doctors and receptionists over the years, but the same issues with professionalism seem to continue.
In particular, some of the reception staff can come across as unprofessional and at times quite rude towards patients. It sometimes feels as though they forget that patients come to the practice because they need help and support. Instead of feeling assisted, patients can feel dismissed or undermined.
As a kidney patient, I need repeat medication and must provide letters from the hospital to support my requests. Despite doing this, I have found it difficult to receive the help I need, and I often feel that my concerns are not properly listened to. I have made several complaints in the past, yet I have never received a response or any follow-up to address the issues.
Living with chronic kidney disease is already stressful, and I have also undergone tests for cancer. The last thing I need is additional stress when trying to access essential medical care.
I truly hope the practice improves its professionalism, communication, and the way patients are treated. At this stage, I am seriously considering changing to another practice where patients are treated with greater respect and understanding.
Always responsive and supportive practice. Dr Kok in particular takes time to listen, follows up by message between appointments, and signposts to extra services like the Patient Participation Group. Reception team are friendly and appointments run on time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a GP in the Shepherd's Bush / W12 area.
