I went today and the gentleman that was assisting me was just amazing. My current glasses are scratched from a fall, I told him I have an essay due. He went out of his way to go through the discontinued box and find a pair of frames that fit my lenses. What a kind human. Thank you so much.

Exceptional service from start to finish! Just picked up my son’s new glasses and I am very happy with every aspect of the journey. The team is professional, the process is seamless, and the quality is top-notch. If you need an optician that gets it right every time, this is the place.

They always remind me when my eye test is due. It's very efficient and organised and you're not waiting around for ages in the shop you get called really quickly for your tests. Everyone is really nice and friendly too.

I visited Specsavers Ashton-under-Lyne in 2024 for an eye examination and ordered a lower-cost pair of lenses. Unfortunately, I had to return three times because the glasses were not suitable, and only on the fourth visit were the lenses corrected properly for me. This month, I decided to return and order more expensive lenses, hoping to avoid the same problem and receive a better result. However, when I came in today to collect and test my glasses, I experienced the same issue again. My vision was not clear or comfortable, so I could not accept the glasses and decided to cancel the order. I am disappointed because I expected a better outcome, especially after choosing more expensive lenses. I do not understand why the same issue has happened again, and why my time and energy have been wasted once more. The staff were polite, but the final result was not acceptable for me. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so the service and accuracy of the lenses can be .improved

I recently visited the store for my eye test and I can definitely say it was efficient, professional. A big thumbs up to Nick Reeve who made my visit enjoyable as I wasn’t feeling the best that day or the collection of glasses. Thank you

Great friendly staff, polite professional, I was made feel at ease by the staff we had a chat and a laugh before i saw the optician. The optician was really god, explaining what she was doing and making me relaxed. Really good service, I've been going there for a few years. I cannot fault them.

The Staff are fantastic, the service is fantastic. My wife and have been coming to Specsavers for years now and wouldn’t change. Customer service and communication is great too. We also get hearing tests; my wife got free hearing aids and she can walk in and get free batteries, amazing. So thank you Specsavers…
