Outpatient pharmacy is the worst department here, waiting time ir ridiculously long,if not 1h wait then more than 3h,people with small kids have to wait same time,no priority at all,it's second or third time for me at this desk, waiting for simple medicine collection, which only require measuring amount of fluid to mix antibiotics for child. Horrible experience. Hope it will change in the future to a faster service.

Sincere Thanks and Gratitude to Dr. Harshawardhan Godbole and Nurse Amy Joseph - Urology Department, North Middlesex University Hospital. I am writing to express my sincere thanks and gratitude for the exceptional service and professionalism I received from Dr. Harshawardhan Godbole in the Urology Department this year. I underwent surgery performed by Dr. Godbole and am profoundly grateful for the outstanding care I received throughout my entire journey, from initial consultancy to the operation itself. Dr. Godbole, a Consultant Urologist, demonstrated remarkable professionalism and excellent communication skills during my treatment. His dedication and expertise were evident, and I wish all NHS services in the UK could serve the community with such respect, dedication, and professionalism. I would also like to extend special thanks to Nurse Amy Joseph. She was incredibly supportive during and after my surgery, exhibiting a strong sense of responsibility and genuine kindness. Thank you, North Middlesex University Hospital, for employing such dedicated and professional individuals to serve the community.

I was taken into this hospital by ambulance on Easter Sunday, and stayed in the A&E department for nearly 2 days. This is an incredibly busy department, and I would like to compliment the staff on simply coping in a very difficult working environment. I was assessed with CRT scans quickly and efficiently. All the doctors a radiologists in this initial assessment were friendly and, as far as I can judge, competent. I was in the corridor for around 6 hours, and then transferred to probably the best space in A&E for the remainder of my stay. During my stay I witnessed at least 4 episodes of people with severe mental problems. This included one woman screaming as loudly as anyone can imagine for around 2 hours, another screaming (again for over an hour), and lying on the floor refusing to move. The police were present on at least 3 occasions. The nurses were remarkable in their patience and care shown. The porters and assistants were all friendly and helpful, as were the Pharmacists. The main hospital receptionists were offhand and rude - I know personal mobile calls are more important than doing your job, but at least try to hide it! There are probably quite a few ways to improve what I saw at this hospital, but the negative reviews do not reflect the extreme pressure put on the staff, and the generally positive ways in which they try to do their work.

Thought I’d do a review as I have spent a lot of time here in various clinic over the years. The care I’ve received here has been amazing, despite the stigma. Ms Pereira in the Breast clinic is amazing. Mr Virasingham in Gynae, is the best thing that’s happened to that clinic, I’ve never felt more listened to and well cared for in terms of my Endometriosis. Mr Jagernauth in Orthopaedics has also been amazing and thorough in treatment, investigations and care. I’ve had multiple surgeries here and received amazing care and support. Just feeling reflective, grateful and appreciative of the care and support.

I went to A&E for an acute gastroenteritis. My overall experience was positive. I waited a reasonable time to be assessed but after three hours I had received the first treatment already. The problem was that I had to be hospitalised and there were no available places so I waited more that one day along a corridor, with obvious discomfort even though with a good care. By the way that part of the hospital could be greatly improved. Toilets, for instance, are scarce and not in very good conditions. After one day and half I was moved to the ward S2 and my experience there was excellent. That’s why I rated the whole experience four-star. A big thank you to all the nurses who made my stay there as smoother as possible.

My experiences at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust have been extremely disappointing. Giving birth there was one of the worst experiences of my life. During labour I felt unsupported, spoken to aggressively, and at times staff were shouting at me instead of helping me. The treatment felt unprofessional and lacking compassion when I was at my most vulnerable. Sadly, years later, I returned for a colposcopy appointment and had another terrible experience. The procedure was painful, and instead of being treated with care and dignity, I felt laughed at and not taken seriously. Again, the professionalism and empathy I expected simply were not there. I understand hospitals are busy and staff work under pressure, but patients deserve respect, kindness, and proper care. My experiences at this hospital left me distressed and uncomfortable, and I would not recommend it based on how I was treated.

I understand the nurses are overworked but after finding out my nephew was diagnosed with cancer I was hysterically crying, that’s when one of the nurses decided to put her hands on me and become quite aggressive to the point she was about to fight me almost!! That is no way to treat anyone!! Please retrain your nurses and teach them sympathy and professionalism!! I must say some ward nurses are better than others as some have a bit of an attitude whilst others are lovely. The rooms aren’t too bad, however the A&E is absolutely horrendous, save your time and only go if you realllyyy need to go!!

Recently had a home birth and the midwives team were fantastic! I'd highly recommend to anyone thinking about it. Had Erica and Sarah during my labour, they both are very lovely. I felt very encouraged to have my baby at home - differently than UCLH for example and was and supported on my choices when I found about my Strep B positive result. I could even met them before (which never happened when I had the others at the birth centre). They came and brought everything that was needed ahead and I had their private numbers to call in case of any questions or symptoms. I felt very confident on the time and ended having a very quick and smooth labour (4th child, but 1st ever at home and the BEST one). No discharge paperwork to run after, had the comfort of my own shower/bed and the best of all was having my children were all there to see that unique moment! So very pleased with the whole experience and their team, despite the other North mid hospital unfavorable reviews out there! Thank you North Middlesex home birth team!!! :)
