The waiting time is quite long but the nurses are helpful and the transport services takes too long for a aged and the disabled persons
And I think they need to have at least a couple of wheelchairs in ambulances.
The cleanliness is good but the que is a nightmare in the hospital.
They should close this hospital down immediately. I could not believe the conditions the most sick and vulnerable people in our community are forced to endure! The hottest days of the year and I had to fight for a fan for my poor 93 year old disabled mother who has dementia and kidney & heart failure because the place was a furnace with no air conditioning. The commode was far too high for her to safely use, supplies were missing, no drinking water dispensers, there are countless plastic jugs with covers left which could be full of bacteria, unhealthy snacks served and food patients clearly can't eat without help but no help available, no checks for diet. Dangerous out of date equipment everywhere. A fan being used to cool down medicines given to patients because they don't have safe storage. Hours waiting for whether a doctor will come or what decision has been made, then having to wait 8 to 9 hours for patient transport back to the care home so she ended up being taken at 4.30 am in the morning in a deluge of rain. There isn't even a safe crossing over the busy Uxbridge road for people to get into the main entrance form the north side. Staff tried their best and were kind but they are struggling against an appalling, not fit-for-purpose facility which should be closed down as soon as possible. CQC have rated this as not safe or effective so why is it still open? It's absolutely unbelievable and very sick and vulnerable patients are forced to go there by the London Ambulance Service. The state of this place is absolutely appalling and shocking considering how much money has gone into the NHS. Please do something about this mess.
The most terrifying experience of my life, I had nurses bullying me and my condition when I was trying to get better in one of the wards. They didn’t have a single ultrasonic person available and told me to wait for days without reason. No one should go through such experience. Please do yourself a favour and don’t come to Ealing Hospital. There’s one nurse on the 10th floor that made fun of how I was feeling and walking even. It’s an experience i would never forget.
I was admitted to Elin hospital after a fainting episode and the creditway credits view within a very short time frame. They they had an MRI scan and CT scan plus ests and we're absolutely wonderful. The MHS everywhere sends a lot of pressure and I have to say that coming from Wales evening hospital wasn't sure the staff. We're really caring and attentive tive the reception staff were really up against it. I saw a lot of bad behaviour disrespects going on but they really really looked after me so all I can say is good. Thank you. Thank you, NHS
I would genuinely like to recognise [Sarah] from the CDU/Chair Room team at Ealing Hospital A&E as one of the best NHS staff members I have ever encountered.
During a very stressful and uncertain time, they treated me with kindness, professionalism, patience, and genuine compassion.
They took the time to explain things clearly, made me feel listened to, and never made me feel like just another patient.
Their calm attitude and caring approach made a huge difference to my experience in hospital.
People like [Sarah] are a real credit to the NHS and truly deserve recognition for the work they do every day.
Suffered from excruciating left flank pain that started yesterday at dawn. On the advice of a concerned family member, I checked in at the A&E at approximately 11:50 pm. It's 5:23 am and still not seen a doctor. I've self medicated with my prescription drugs (cocodamol 30/500) just to ease the pain while I wait.
The service is poor, attitude of staff leaves much to be desired and this started right at the check in desk. If I can help it, this hospital would be the last choice in the future.
I had an open hernia surgery yesterday at Ealing hospital and thought most staff were really caring and dedicated. They made my short stay there as comfortable as possible. The sister in charge of the ward, the surgeons and anaesthesists were exceptional considering the pressure they are under.
I want to thank you all for the great work you do everyday.
I visited Ealing A&E yesterday for a rabies vaccine. I hadn’t booked in advance as I didn’t realise it was required, so I arrived as a walk-in and was quite worried when I was told the vaccine wasn’t immediately available.
Fortunately, I met a wonderful nurse, Si Ji Joy (I hope I have her name correct). She was incredibly kind, calm and understanding at a time when I was feeling very anxious. She went out of her way to help arrange the vaccine for me in a very short time, which I truly appreciate.
Her professionalism, compassion, and dedication were outstanding. Staff like her play a huge role in building public trust in healthcare services. When someone comes into A&E feeling panicked, having such a caring and capable professional makes all the difference.
I am very grateful for her support and kindness
