Once again the experience was outstanding as the service, treatment, advice and the staff were excellent, espacially Dr Suman and her team Karen, the young man who escorted us , the audio hearing test person were very good and through aplogies for not getting their names. My partner was absolutely overjoyed with the treatment and advice thank you very much to all the staff at Central middlesex hospital for the tremendous effort made in our behalf. God bless 🙌
Had total hip replacement under dr.Hani and it went extremely well! The staff the nurses and dr. Hani’s team on the day were impressively skilled from anestesiologist to dr. Hani himself who did minimal bruising and recovery is going much better than i expected. Thank you for a pleasant stay. Nurses were lovely!
A little background: I visited the urgent treatment of this hospital on Saturday. I have had a UTI and prostate infection symptoms for a month. Within the last month I’ve took antibiotics for 3 weeks and the problem still hasn’t been solved.
Upon the consultation with the dr I had to explain the whole situation from the start, show him the previous urine sample results (I don’t understand why they are not able to find this information in their systems) and he wanted me to give another urine sample while the last one I gave was like 3 days ago.
Then, he sees the results and starts telling me off for visiting different hospitals and not sticking to my GP. Trying to me make me feel like this is my fault. I explained that my GP has available appointments every two weeks and as this is an urgent matter, I have to visit urgent care. He then says you should book repeatedly appointments with your GP (even when I don’t need one, just have it booked, just in case). What a piece of advice to get from a dr!
He then prescribes another week course of antibiotics, so with this one I’m reaching a WHOLE MONTH in taking antibiotics.
I am very disappointed with NHS overall! So many drs that are super irresponsible. Like the first dr I visited in urgent treatment of Guy Folk’s hospital DIDN’T EVEN KNOW that long term prostatitis exists. The system is just super inefficient. 3 visits already and not even one dr thought to do an ultrasound on my prostate.
Why do I even pay taxes for NHS if it’s useless?
I am disappointed to be writing this review because, up until this appointment, I had never had anything negative to say about the hospital or the care my mother had received.
Unfortunately, our experience with this neurologist Sophie Molloy was very different. My mother left the appointment feeling upset and unheard, and we felt there was a lack of empathy and compassion throughout the consultation.
Patients deserve to feel listened to, respected and supported, especially when they are already dealing with pain. Sadly, that was not our experience on this occasion.
Every patient deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and compassion, regardless of their background, language, nationality or personal circumstances.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Central Middlesex Hospital has completely restored my faith in the NHS. From the moment I arrived, the hospital felt clean, welcoming, and genuinely refreshing. The environment was well maintained, calm, and organised, which immediately put me at ease.
I had been waiting for an ENT appointment for a very long time elsewhere, but once I was registered with Central Middlesex Hospital, everything moved surprisingly quickly and smoothly. The efficiency and communication were excellent, and I finally felt listened to and taken seriously.
Dr. AZIZ-SCOTT is one of the nicest doctors I have ever met. Professional, kind, patient, and genuinely caring, he took the time to listen and explain everything clearly. His manner made a huge difference, and I felt respected and supported throughout the appointment.
Overall, the staff were courteous, the service was efficient, and the hospital atmosphere was outstanding. I am extremely grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend Central Middlesex Hospital to anyone needing ENT services or general care.
My mum had both total knee replacement under Dr lendhorf. First one 1.5 years ago was excellent, from start to finish, all the staff and post op nurses and ward staff. Second time round was an absolute nightmare. Unsafe patient discharge, rude nurses, no ac in the wards despite heatwave. Patient care was very poor. Pals don't get back to you. Even her surgery was looking messy compared to last time. Not sure what went wrong thud time but even the post op care was terrible
I don’t know about others,
I know that NHS has a lot of people that can make you put everyone in the same boat, I know the nerves and disappointment that can occur sometimes when trying to reach a GP or something that you know done somewhere else much quicker….
But I been to this hospital Twice in the last Month and a Half, once I had emergency intervention by a very nice doctor that put letter to my GP about my condition that requires surgery,
And my GP forwarded me back to the same hospital for colonoscopy…
I must tell you…
That department is lovely and truly professional…
Should I even tell you that they brought me cofee and biscuits like I wasn’t there for treatment…very polite , humble, professional you name it …
I haven’t had such a pleasant experience since London Eye Hospital A&E department….
So good to have peole like in this hospital, good management probably, good human instincts of helping others…
Really pleasant experience which Hospital shouldn’t be a place to wish to return…but if I need to return, at least I feel…safe and…well treated by these people !
Keep up the good work !
Thankfully NHS still has remains of Good People…
I don’t normally give such reviews to NHS…yet today I learned there is still Hope out there ! The system is not all crooked !
Thank you for the professionalism ! I was so scared and concerned when I arrived there today…
After the intervention I didn’t mind to be told that I have to return unfortunately…
In other circumstances I would have given up the ideea that someone will do the best to help me if I’m in need !
Thank you Endoscopy Department and the doctor that helped me initially checking me sending letter to the GP ! Good hearted people !
I had a very bad experience with the Radiology department – a staff member called Ms. Shawda (or a similar name).
From the first moment, she started shouting at me while I was trying to explain my enquiries. I wasn’t able to finish speaking because she kept interrupting and saying, “We are not dealing with this… your GP needs to send an email.”
I explained several times that my GP had already sent the email on 13 February at 11:12 am, but she continued to respond in a raised voice, saying, “Listen carefully… we are not dealing with this,” and also implied that I do not understand English properly.
I have been working full-time in London, UK, for 12 years, paying taxes during all this time, and I expect to receive respect and support when I genuinely need help.
My enquiry is about the X-ray I did on 2 February. I was promised face to face that the result would be ready within one week, or maybe 10 days, as it would be categorised as urgent.
Today is 19 February, and I feel like a ping-pong ball between my GP and the hospital, without receiving clear information or support.
