I had previously requested a blood test; however, upon arrival, I was informed that my appointment had not been scheduled. The doctor advised that I would need to wait approximately 15 minutes.
Unfortunately, I have now been waiting for nearly one hour. During this time, I have asked the receptionist several times how much longer it would take, and on each occasion, I was told that I would be the next person to be called. Despite this, multiple patients who arrived after me have already been seen, while I am still waiting.
This situation has been extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially given the lack of clear communication yand the repeated assurances that were not upheld.
Medical English can be difficult for me to fully understand, which may sometimes cause miscommunication. Although the doctor may come across as strict, they genuinely try to help and always do their best to respond to my requests. I also appreciate that the staff take the time to call and follow up, which makes me feel supported and well cared for.
Joynal and Sunju at the front desk are mega helpful. I had to access some miss-filed documents of a previous procedure, and they spent upwards of 20 minutes digging up any relevant info - printed and emailed everything to make sure I was covered. Highly recommend these guys!
Cassidy Medical Centre staff have been incredibly helpful in setting me up with their practice/ NHS after my move back to the UK after 30 plus years abroad.. They are considerate and efficient and more than deserve the great reviews they receive on line which is how I picked their practice in the first place.
