It is a very nice Surgery. The car park had many spaces and there were few people in the waiting room. The receptionist was very helpful and the nurse had time and was helpful and very professional and skilled. I did find it strange though that my appointment was for 8am and the doors were only unlocked just after that so patients had to wait outside.

This is an excellent medical centre, they are incredibly helpful, well informed and friendly. The staff here are always going out of the way to make sure your problems are properly heard and appropriately dealt with. We have been using this GP surgery for more than 40 years and they have never let us down. The resident doctors and the short term doctors they select are all excellent at doing their jobs, listening well and addressing the medical issues with kindness, empathy and efficiency.

I've had several visits to Canbury Medical Centre and each time I’ve felt listened to and able to cover a lot within the sessions. The staff are professional and helpful, and my experience with booking appointments and receiving communications has been very smooth. Reception can sometimes seem a bit pressured, but overall the team are some of the most empathetic doctors I’ve come across. For those reasons, I’m giving 5 stars.

I can't recommend Canbury Medical Centre highly enough. It is the way you always hoped healthcare would be - friendly, professional, accessible and effective. From the reception team to the clinical staff, they go above and beyond to make sure you are seen quickly and efficiently. I would 100% recommend them for you and your family.

Friendly and professional staff with a caring attitude and do a great job of making you feel comfortable and taking time to discuss any concerns and answer questions. Booking via the NHS app can be a bit clunky but once query is submitted they are quick to respond with an appointment time. For some reason the self check-in at reception doesn't work for me but other than that they are great.

I called regarding my child’s health issue, and the receptionist was extremely helpful. Dr Allen was able to see him within a few hours and was kind, professional, and very helpful throughout. Thank you for the excellent care.

It’s a shame there isn’t an option to give zero stars. In the past, Canbury Medical Centre lost my urine test sample and the issue was effectively brushed aside without any proper accountability. On another occasion, I asked reception to book two appointments because I needed two completely different issues examined. I was told that one appointment would be enough. However, when I saw the doctor on the day, I was told that two separate appointments were actually required, so I was only able to discuss one problem. To make matters worse, I am still dealing with muscle pain that I first raised with a doctor seven months ago, and it remains unresolved. My GP, Dr Manson, advised me to stop running, effectively restricting my daily activities. When the problem did not improve, I was told to “use this app to exercise that area”. However, the link I was given does not even include exercises for the affected area. When I asked Dr Manson whether there was a physiotherapist available, she finally started to take action, but by that point all that had happened was a significant waste of my time. Once I was referred to the physiotherapist, Ms Kemila, she quickly arranged the necessary tests. After the results came back, I tried to book a follow-up appointment, but the earliest available telephone consultation was more than two weeks away — despite the fact that the conversation would likely take less than a minute. Reception then told me to resubmit the online triage form and mark it as urgent. However, the result was exactly the same appointment date. This clinic is clearly not functioning properly. Mistakes of this kind can lead to delays in treatment and, in some cases, could potentially put patients’ health at risk. Postscript: I have now transferred to another clinic. At Canbury Medical Centre, appointments often involved waiting several weeks, and my condition did not improve over several months, leaving me in ongoing daily pain. Since moving to a new clinic, I have been able to obtain appointments promptly and have received appropriate treatment and advice. My condition has improved dramatically within a few weeks, and I am now pain-free and able to run 7km again.

Excellent surgery, with amazing doctors who are always willing to help, listean and find the underlying reasons for not feeling well. They are quick in responsive to individual needs and effective in their work. Last but not least admin team always trys to scheduke appointments taking under acccount individual needs. They also contact you when your tests are due to enaure you dont forget about them. I wish everyone had access to such outstanding care! And I am very thankful for all they do to keep me and my family well !
